Today we went to the Creation Museum with Grammy, Grampy and the Schansberg boys. It was a great day. Reagan was really easy and the kids had a great time running around, I got some cool pics and was generally impressed with the museum.
The museum is definitely a place that you could go back to over and over again. It was too much to get all at once and definitely too much with six kids in tow. I hope that we go back at some point when we can spend a little more time at each exhibit to read and learn more.
Reagan overall was pretty easy to manage. She didn't like being in the stroller - I think there was too much separation for her with the crowds. I ended up carrying her in the Jeep carrier all day. She ate and slept on me unless I had to use the restroom - then I gave her to Jim. :)

Jordan and I took Reagan to the doctor this morning because she has been so fussy this week. She’s been crying a lot – seemingly inconsolable – and is also very clingy with her me. The doctor just basically said she was fine and that the quick change from breastfeeding to bottle probably just shocked her a little bit. She told me to start again and let them know in a few days if her mood didn’t improve.
This afternoon, I breastfed my little girl. She seemed to be much happier. By tonight, she had calmed down drastically – although still somewhat fussy and clingy – she was manageable. I’m hoping that by Monday she’s back to normal.
One other amazing thing – she went to bed at 830 tonight. WOW.
On a personal note, my hair is starting to shed. I have in the last week seen more hair in the brush. But today is the first day that I was able to just run my fingers through my hair and pull some out. Eeek.

My Favorite Things - First Three Months
1) Mmmmmmm. Tucking of her bottom lip up underneath the top lip and loudly saying “MMMMMMM” or “MmmMMMMM”
2) Cooing at her mobile – I can listen in on the monitor.
3) Lalalalallaaaa. I can always get her to smile at me when I do that
4) Most favorite – watching her stretch everytime you wake her up from a good nap (or a night’s sleep). She stretches just like me.
5) Her favorite spot – on the changing tables. She LOVES to get changed.

I need a break
Grammy let me borrow two of her Baby Einstein DVDs for Reagan. I put her in front of the TV this morning so I could eat some breakfast and she cooed and giggled at the TV. It was such a nice break.
In our floor time this morning she started shrieking out loud. It was great. She’s done that a few times before, but not as many times as she did this time.
Tonight, Reagan finally did it – she cried straight for 2 hours. Because I’m taking an antibiotic, the pharmacist said to quit breastfeeding her. Since I did that on Saturday, she’s been really clingy with me and not very consolable. Last night (after day five), I needed a break. Jim took her so I could “run away” to the baby store and she didn’t stop crying for two straight hours. Not much of a break…

Morning Girl
Reagan is definetly a morning girl. She is sooo happy every morning – it’s cute. Today, I played with her in the mirror for the first time in about a week. She not only saw herself, but she saw me and reacted the same way she does when I play with her just face to face. She giggled and tried to touch the mirror. She’s amazing.
This morning I went to my doctor for a checkup to make sure stuff is working just fine. While I was sitting in the waiting room, I was playing with Reagan on my lap. There was a little boy – probably two – in the waiting room with his family as well. I guess that Reagan thought he was cute. Everytime she looked at him, she cooed and giggled. It was so cute. I think my little girl is a flirt. Oh No!

Girl time
Today was a rough day with Reagan – as rough as they go. She didn’t want to nap at all. She’s fighting me on everything. The one break I get with her whenever she has days like this are when I change her diaper. She LOVES getting her diaper changed for some reason. I hope it’s because we make it a game and play the whole time. Once you put her on the changing table, he mood completely changes and she gets really playful.
I went out with Cmo tonight to get some “girl time”. Of course my parents watched her. She was, again, moody. But my parents handled it in stride. I got back to their house in about 2 hours and they were so calm about her grumpies that I actually just didn’t worry about it. It’s really nice to be able to leave her for a few hours with them so I can get some time to myself.

She Shrieks
She is shrieking! When she laughs, she schrieks now if she is really amused. It’s hilarious.

Hard Day
She really struggled all day with taking naps and her mood. I don’t know if it was the quick change to bottle only or just a period of change for her, but it was interesting. We tried to go to church and that didn’t work. I had to leave before the sermon even got started. We decided to try to go to Sunday School and ended up leaving church completely right after the social period of our class. Oh well.
Grammy and Grampy came over today. They hung out with her for a whole “cycle” of her time. They played and cooed with her which gave me a huge break. They even rocked her to sleep for her nap time. Thanks Mom and Dad.
