Brennan and the trampoline

We went to Brennan's birthday party today. Jim stayed home with the baby and we took off in the van to hang out for the afternoon. The kids played in the trampoline quite a bit. Reagan even got in on the fun. We were surprised. She did okay until the older kids got in and just got too crazy for her. Then she wanted out. But she played hard.

So much stuff

Little Maddy is so busy and impatient. It's fun to watch. She is on the move and seriously on a mission each time she's down on the ground. She seems to play with all the things that Reagan never did. So funny. She's pulling up on just about anything and can't stand to sit still. She loves to chew chew chew as I think she's getting more teeth.
She's such a happy baby. She almost never cries (well unless you take something from her or take too long to get to her). Did I mention she was impatient.

Pulling up

Tonight, Jim sat Maddy down in front of the mini grand piano we had for Reagan. She's played on it before, but tonight she didn't just play on it. She stood up. She reached over the top of the music stand and pulled her little butt all the way until she was standing. WOW!

Maddy might be

A belly sleeper. Jim went to wake her up this morning and she was on her belly snuggled with her green snuggly.

Sign language at school

Apparently they are teaching my kid spanish and sign language at school. Whooda thunk? She comes home every day with new words and signs. I love it. She comes home with new stuff every day.

Yesterday at her school they had a magician, today they had a balloon animal artist. She was so excited when I picked her up. She danced around and showed me her beautiful butterfly. She buzzed it around and around so wonderfully. So proud.

Ba ba sign language

Tonight, I nurse Maddy and ran out the door to get to the chiropractor. When I got home, Jim sat her in the high chair and started feeding her some food. She ate about half a jar when she started getting fussy with him. She started grunting and spitting her food out. I mentioned she might not want it, and he said "but she's been eating". So I thought she was just playing.

About a second later, Maddy made the "bottle" sign. Jim said do you want a bottle? She made the sign again. WOW! Really? Anyway, I started heating up a bottle - we didn't totally believe that she meant that. So we said bottle when she made the sound. When she saw me put the bottle in the microwave to heat the water, she started making her "noise" for happiness.

She ate her bottle. :)

Second tooth is in

Her second bottom tooth came in. It's been working to come out for a while. But it finally cut through the gums over night (I'm guessing). This is the bottom right tooth. :)
