I want out
Today, Reagan had no interest in taking a nap. When I went upstairs to get her, she was hanging on the rail of her crib saying "uh oh" and just giggling. Hmmm. Guess she can get out now.

Thanksgiving Fun
Our Thanksgiving started off quite busy. Jim and I got up before the kids and started working on the appetizer for our dinner and getting a french toast breakfast together. I didn't feel like I even slowed down enough to eat - we had a lot to do by 10am.
Once we were all up and fed, we packed the car headed for the Grandma's house in Indiana. We got there about 11:30am and hung out all day. Reagan did really well. She played and played and played. She spent tons of time with Grandma's dogs. Jordan played games on my phone most of the time and Jim chatted with everyone (and played with the dogs too).
Reagan actually ate a full bowl of mac and cheese for the first time and even had a bite of clam dip. Yep - clam dip. I freaked out. Papa Thomas had Reagan on his lap and was feeding her mac and cheese when he just, out of the blue, took a spoonful of dip and popped it in her mouth. I put my hands over my face and said "that has clams in it!" Ohhhh. I had to breathe. She was fine. Of course. Papa didn't know not to do that... oh well. I've given her strawberries, so I guess I can't say anything :).
Anyway, she read books and played a lot with Papa. He even taught her how to do the wheelbarrow game - he picked up her feet and taught her how to walk with her hands. So darn cute.
Aunt Wanda gave her a music book that played some cool classical music. Every time Reagan would hit a button, she'd dance where she was the whole time that it played.
We left about 5pm and Reagan promptly fell asleep in the car. She was zonked! The thing that cracks me up now - she in bed and talking up a storm. No nap - extremely tired but talking. Hmmm.

Potty training or breakfalling?
This morning, I hung out with Reagan for a bit before taking her to school. And, of course, she wanted to take a trip to the potty. Since I'm seriously wanting her to get potty trained, I'm very excited every time she seems interest.
She and I walked into the bathroom, took off her pants and diaper and I plopped her up on the toddler seat. Her habit is to play with the toilet paper unless she has to go. Today was no different, she was grabbing hand over fist more and more toilet paper to play with. So to stop this, I pulled the roll off the holder and handed her the holder thinking that would keep her preoccupied. It did...
Within moments, I was watching Reagan lean over her right side with her left hand to reach the holder on the wall in attempt to put it back. As she did this, my slow motion camera started... he left butt cheek popped up along with the toddler seat. I thought for sure she'd end up in the toilet. Next, she amazingly tucked her shoulder and head and slowly fell onto her head. Thank goodness she landed in a basket with toilet paper in it. Ugh. She immediately cried. Once I realized, she was ok - I totally laughed.
But looking back, she had the perfect break-fall... like what Sensei Steve would teach. So proud.

My little monkey
As soon as we got home from picking up my new iMac from FedEx and some fun grocery shopping, Reagan made a beeline for the table. She immediately climbed up into her booster seat in her chair, turned around and said she wanted a snack. I have seen her climb up and get stuck. I've never seen her climb up, turn around, get buckled in and just be ready. Hmmm. My little monkey is getting BIG.
My iMac has arrived
This might be the coolest thing ever!!! I've been looking at a new computer for a while. Jim's been bugging me to order something - decide. Well I did. I chose Mac! But even after I chose Mac, I still waited... for the perfect timing. I looked, pondered, waited, and looked some more. Then, I heard about a new model. I had to wait for that.

Well my wait was over when Jim got tired of me waiting and just ordered the thing. So three weeks ago, or so, Jim went online and clicked a few buttons. Then I had to wait even more - it was a preorder... they weren't shipping yet. Ugh.
Then we got a ship date and watched as it moved from Shanghi to Anchorage to Erlanger. It sat. Then it came.
It's here!!!

We gotta get potty trained
Yea - this is the second time she's peed in a corner. Ugh. I took her out of the bath tonight and she said "potty". But as soon as I stuck her on the potty, she said "no teeth". Hmmm. Against my gut, I put her up on the stool, dried her off and let her hop down to get a diaper on. She promptly ran into her bedroom, went behind the chair and WENT behind the chair!!!!!
