Walking more
Tonight, she wanted to walk. She crawled up on me and held on. So I started walking with one hand. She is much better on my left side than my right side. She falls almost right away when she starts on my right side. Hmmm
Anyway, tonight I tried to put her up on her walker thingy - not the thing you put her in, but the one she walks behind. She didn't want to use it. She wanted to use Mommy. :)
So I guess she is moving past those toys.
I wonder when she'll walk!?

Feeding Ms. Reagan
Yea, the only way I can now feed Reagan is to completely distract her with either Jordan or the television. I got so frustrated with her not eating the other night (and waking up endlessly) that I tried Baby Einstein. It worked! She ate like a horse and slept well. Yea for Baby Einstein.
LLLLLlallllaaaa Light
She is so facinated with lights for some reason. She has had a thing with pictures - she has to look at and point to all the pictures in the house. If she doesn't look out. But the last few days, she just starts looking up and pointing - "ohhoooo". Cute.
So I started working with her on the word light. She kinda gets it. She can do the L thing with her tongue and make a sound that sounds like light, but not quite there yet. She'll get it.

Where's mommy
Tonight I got home after Jim (with Reagan). He came out to help me get the dogs inside and said "go on in so she's not alone". So I did.
When I got in the door, I just started singing the "Stinkerbutt" song to her just to see what she'd do. When I got to the closet, I turned my head towards the living room and didn't see her yet. I kept singing. Just a few seconds later, her little head popped up over the end table and she was SMILING and just laughing. She knew her mommy was home.
I love that.

Walking with one finger
She's getting close folks. She loves to walk around the room hanging on to just one finger. I am really thankful she is tall, because I don't have to bend over real far to walk with her. :)
Really rough night
Last night, I paid for not figuring out a way to get Reagan to eat. Not only did she wake up one time, she woke up three times for a bottle. OMG! Needless to say, I have large bags under my eyes today. I'm wiped out.
What did she record?
Last night, Jim and I were going through our recorded list of things and found this "adult themed movie" that had been partially recorded. With Jim being on vacation, I naturally thought Jim had done it. When we looked closer, we both realized that it had been recorded on Tuesday morning at 747am. Hmmm. That only meant one thing - REAGAN!
She loves to play with the remote and the only thing he and I could think of was that she had hit enough buttons to record it. The show had recorded, but to watch it, you have to put a code in. So it was probably her. The next thing on the list was "Denise Austin's workout". Yea, it was probably her.

Feeding 101
Reagan's little independent streak is not allowing for good meals lately. She wants to feed herself. The only way you can get a bite of food in her mouth without her hands on it is if you 100% distract her with something else. That is not an easy task to accomplish. Needless to say, tonight she ended up with sweet potatoes, green beans and a mix of other things all over herself. I eventually gave up and figured - if she's hungry she'll eat.
The Doghouse
How Funny.
Saatchi and Saatchi has done it again. They created a really cute, funny way to tell men not to give us women practical gifts.

Driving Mr. Carman's toy
I drove the Highlander today. Ha ha. Jim was taking Reagan in and picking up both girls after school. So he got the minivan - mainly because he hadn't bothered to move the car seat into the Highlander yet. So I got to drive the "cool" car in.
I LOVE IT!!!

I can feed myself thank you
Well I think Reagan has crossed over into the "independent phase". She really doesn't like me feeding her anymore. SHe tolerates it for a short period of time, but really wants stuff on her tray and in a spoon for her to feed herself. So now, she gets a bath right after dinner.
Tonight, she fed herself bananas with tapioca and sweet potatoes on the spoon. She also fed herself Cheerios, oranges and puffs. Geez. She's growing up.
She did end up quite messy, but so darn cute!

Mr Piano man
Tonight, Jim pulled out Jordan's old keyboard. It actually is pretty nice one - a synthesizer and drum set all in one. It's pretty cool. We got it down because Reagan loves playing on the piano in the dining room so much. He thought it'd be fun for her to play with.
He set it up on the coffee table and started messing around. She made a b-line to Jim. She love it. She pulled up and started pounding away and dancing. She gets such a cute smile on her face when she is listening to music. She just loves it.

So clingy
Reagan is SO clingy now adays. It's just amazing how much she can't stand to be without me. When I appear in a room, she heads right for me no matter what. If someone is holding her, she squirms to get down or leans in until I take her.

The sickies
Oh my. Last night, we got home from our crazy errands and I got really sick really quick. I couldn't believe how fast it hit me. I was in the bathroom on and off for about five hours straight and then nothing. I couldn't eat and all I wanted to do was lay down. Ugh.
About midnight, it was all over. I was a little surprised how fast it went through my system. I thought, I'd better wait til morning before I decided if I'm going to work.
I'm glad I did. I actually didn't feel all that bad, but felt it was probably better not to take a chance and give it to anyone else. So I stayed home.
This morning, we got a call from Beechwood. Jordan was sick. Jim went to get her.
Tonight, Jim called me while I was out with friends and said "guess what". Ugh
I guess we're all a bunch of sickies! (yes, Reagan had it too)

Sick?
What! I'm sick. Oh no.
We got home tonight and it hit me like a ton of bricks. I started feeling very sick to my stomach and completely lost my appetite. I thought at first it was just that I hadn't really eaten much all day, but it wasn't.
I made several trips to the bathroom and finally hurled what little food I had eaten. Ugh. Nice!
Now I can't sleep.

Busy day
We had a pretty busy day today. Jordan, Reagan and I ran a bunch of errands including grocery shopping while Jim went off to try to haggle. Jordan wanted to go to the toy store so she could buy us a present (of course with our money) and then we ran all over Northern Kentucky. Wow.
After all of our errands, Jordan had basketball practice. Since Reagan had not slept, she conveniently passed out in the car on the way. So she and I hung out in the car while Jordan ran around the court.
By the time our day was done, I was tired, sore and sick.

We are completely insane
Yes folks, Jim and I are nuts. All I wanted to do on Saturday was test drive a minivan to see if I could even stand to drive one. We didn't buy one on Saturday despite all of Jim's work and haggling.
But today - ha ha! Jim did it. Not only did he get me a Sienna, he got himself a new Highlander.
Geeeeeez!
