Today we finally got to see Mimi and Papa. Papa was sick the week before and out house had it the next week. TOday was the first time that we all were well at the same time. Reagan was THRILLED!!!
We got down there this morning in time for a snack of donuts and banas. Then it was play time for Reagan. They wonderfully offered to let us run to the store without her, so Jim and I took off. We got back and she was already eating lunch with Mimi and Papa. We played for a bit longer and then went upstairs for a nap.
She had a fantastic time with them. Once her nap was over, she was up and ready to go again. She played hard until Jim came back to get us. We colored and ran around all evening. I think her favorite saying today was "No ma'am! - time out!!"
:) what a nice day.

What a blessing
She sings with me at night - Amazing Grace. I love this routine with her at night. It's my time with her. I'm sure it will change at some point - she won't want to sing with me before bed. But while it lasts, I'm going to savor every moment.

The walls come down
Today, dispite me being sick again, it was a pretty cool day. About 11am, the concrete guy came in and said "I'm about to take the wall down". Wow! I popped up from my nap and got my coat on and went outside with my camera.
It took forever - or so it seemed. All you could see was this wall and some flickering of movement every time he hit it with the sledge hammer. I think I took 5 or so short video clips before I gave up for a bit.
Eventually, the wall looked like it was about to come out. When it did, it fell out in one piece and landed in a HUGE puddle of muck. That wall of stuff came shooting up while I was recording. Talk about scaring me to death!
I've got it on video - I'll post it soon.

Teeth
Just an update on her teeth - she's got all of her baby teeth except her bottom canine (I guess that's what it's called). I think she has 15 of 16... something like that. All I know is that they are SHARP!
Our whole house is sick
In the last few days, Jordan and I came down with some type of virus. We've had it since Saturday night/Sunday morning. We both felt pretty run down Sunday morning. We both stayed home from work/school on Monday. Tuesday she had off, but I was still struggling.
Jim actually took her to the doctor Tuesday night and by the time he got home with her, he looked pretty run down too. Ugh.
So far this week, I've missed three days of work. Jordan has missed three days of school. Jim slept all day today.
Keep Reagan in your prayers - so far she's still only got a cold.

Pulling off the diaper
Why is it that toddlers have the need to yank off their diaper and then go to a corner to pee. Hmmm!?
ABCs and 123s
She's got 'em. Tonight, Jim and I were hanging out with little Miss in the living room coloring. She just started singing them both. Tonight was the first time she didn't skip any numbers. Woo hooo

She loves to color and must organize
She is cracking me up tonight. I got her the jumbo crayons from the store and they seem to be a huge hit. She prefers those over the other ones that she's had for a while.
The funny thing is that she's very careful with her colors. They must be all lined up in order and of course be all pointed in the same direction.
She also must assign you a color to color with. Don't just pick one out - she'll tell you that's not right.
She is also starting to color and draw things. For example, she's draw a squiggle and tell me that it's a dog or a snake. The other super cool thing - she filled in an eye on the page in the coloring book and said "look mommy". Pretty cool.

Under Construction
Our house has been "under construction" now since the beginning of September. So far, we've got drywall, prep for the cutting for our walkout, electric and plumbing.
Jim and I both happen to be home on the day they dug our our side yard and tore it all to heck. :) Here's the backhoe - very cool.
Here are some pretty cool pics.
Flippin' pages
For the last several nights, Reagan has wanted to read to us more than us reading stories to her before bed. I hadn't paid too much attention to how she was "flippin pages". Jim did.
She actually holds the book and thumbs through them... I don't know how to explain it, but apprarently it was a cool thing. Cool dexterity stuff.
