Belly Laugh?

I actually heard Reagan cackle today on the way to school. She was watching Nemo and saw something that just tickled her funny bone and out came this loud goofy laugh. I had to laugh myself. I’ve heard her laugh before, but nothing like this. Just too funny.

Overnight with the parents

This weekend Jim and I took off for an overnight trip to Lexington. We had my mom and dad take care of Reagan from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I was so happy to get a chance to be alone with Jim. We got to Lexington and I went straight to the spa. Mani, pedi and a massage. Ahhhhh. Then we had dinner and relaxed in the room. I had a nice time. We vegged!!!

The next morning we woke up and had an awesome breakfast and went to the pool. Ahhh again. I figured out that swimming laps is harder than I remember. Jim had his massage in the morning and I worked out at the gym. After that we headed home.

It was nice and simple and easy. But it was our first attempt to leave Reagan for a night.

We got home and she was sleeping. Perfect. Mom and Dad said she did fantastic. She asked to go to their house a few times and then "go home" for bed. Cute. When she woke up from her nap, she realized we were home and just hung on me. Mush!!!

All in all, I think the trip went well. Reagan did well and I got some peace and quiet with Jim. Next trip will be two nights!! he heee
