Today, we went to the church to celebrate Easter a bit. Each year, the church has an Easter Eggstravaganza for the kids in the area. They bring in a great entertainer - magician, singer, kid person. Most of the kids have a great time. Then they get to roam the halls in search of candy and eggs.
Reagan, this year, decided that she wasn't interested in hanging out in the sanctuary listening to the entertainment. She wanted to look for the eggs. That's it. Nothing else.
When the kids were let loose, she joined the orange group and found her eggs. Jordan actually walked her around - it was cute. Once we were done, we picked up the candy from the front and sat down to chow down on some sugary treats. :)

Happy Easter
Happy Easter! Today was an awesome day!
Mom and I got up early and headed to church to sing and play for both services. We left Jim and Dad home to take care of Reagan and get to church by the second service. Jim wore a tie to church.
Reagan was so funny. We picked her up from her class and she walked out saying Happy Easter to everyone she ran into. The other good news - she actually asked to go potty a couple times. The teacher said she even tried to coax another little girl to try even though she was clearly still in diapers. So sweet. :)
We got home and had our own little egg hunt. She was hilarious. Jim and filled the eggs with jelly beans and chocolate. She went crazy. Every time she found an egg, she screamed and shook the eggs saying "there's jelly beans in there"!
It took her a while, but she found her basket too. That just had a few stuffed toys, but she was just as excited.
Right now she's in bed, but she is babbling away. I think she had WAY too much candy today. We'll see how long it takes her to drop off to sleep. At least she's happy and singing church songs. :) Love that!

Easter Eggs and More
Today we took Reagan on her first Easter Egg hunt at our church. We got there at 12:30 pm and watched a magic show. It was really cute. She didn't get into that as much, but she did enjoy the music. She played quietly in the sanctuary with us while we watched the show. After the show, we grabbed a bag and went with a bunch of other kids to look for eggs.
The church did a fantastic job of organizing it. They kids had a TON of eggs to look for and most of the kids were nice. All the parents kept track of the kids well. It was a nice experience.
Reagan had a blast looking for eggs. She really got a kick out of looking for them. We collected fourteen and then went to claim her prize - a goody bag.
On the way out the door, she giggled. We went home with chocolate in hand and an awesome experience. I hope they do this again next year.
