Ray Charles goin on

We were all sitting down at Max and Erma's for dinner just hangin and listening to music. Jim and I looked over at Reagan and she was doing the whole head-roll/bash thing. Where the heck did she get that. Any time she hears a cool or upbeat song, she starts dancing and moving around. She likes to boogie. My little rocker!! woo hoooo. I think Grammy might be a tad upset if she doesn't play classical music. hmmmm.

I actually stayed home again

The last two days I've been sick. not just kinda sick - but shaky, sweaty sick. Ick. I had an allergy attack over the weekend that just "landed" in my head. I sounded like a frog on Monday all day. Monday night, I actually lost my voice completely (jim loved that).

Yesterday, I was miserable all day. I woke up from a nap about 3pm and thought I better run over to Urgent Care to make sure I'm not really sick. The doc said it was all allergy, but to take this hopped up cold syrup that will "make me feel all better"... wow did it. But he also gave me a Z-pack just in case I got worse.

This morning, I was 100% worse. I got up, got ready and was standing at the mirror putting on makeup when I realized I was sweating and shaking... not a good combo for going to work. I actually got back into bed with my clothes on because I didn't know what else to do. Then, I actually crawled out to my computer to tell work that I was home another day. Ugh.

Needless to say, I struggled all day. I had a headache, sinus pressure, nausea on top of the nasty ongoing cough blah blah blah. Ugh! I couldn't figure out why I kept waking up with a nasty headache until I looked up the ingredients in the cough syrup they gave me. Hmmmm - "addictive properties" is what one site said. GEEEEZ that's all I need. So I quickly said no more of that and dropped it in the garbage.

So tonight, I just took a sudafed and a zyrtec and seriously hope I don't wake myself up coughing. Hmmmm.

Puc?

Puc? Puc? Maack? That just means she wants a cup of milk. It took me a little while to realize what she meant when she said "puc?"- actually, it took me until she said "maack" right after that I got it. Imma dork. :)

Anyway, she's getting so much better at telling us what she wants. It's so nice. I just wish that she'd tell us when she has to pee instead of saying it all the time. LOL.

Mama's Sick sick sick

Tonight I actually lost my voice. Jim was so happy! Well, he was until he realized that he had to come over to me to listen to me. ha haaa! I don't know why I lost my voice - just did. Hmmmm.
Needless to say, I laid down and just chilled out for the rest of the night and nursed my sore throat. Hmmm

Potty

Today she said all day, multiple times that she said she had to go. She'd look at either me or Jordan and say "pee pee?" and hold her diaper. We made multiple trips to the potty with her with no success. The most interesting time was at bedtime. I put her down in her crib and she said it again (and pooted at the same time). That made me think she really had to go. So as she reached up, I picked her up and we bolted for the potty. Nothing. Hmmmm.

Well at least she's asking!

Mine!

It's mine! All mine. All MiIIIiiiiIIIne!

Today was the day of "mine". She said it all day about everything she could grab on to. If I tried to take even a piece of fuzz from her little hand, she pulled her hands to her chest and screamed - "Mine". If I continued, she'd start a protest which usually included some type of tantrum.

It's kind of amusing to hear her say that because it just means that she's getting older. We've entered the "mines". he he
