Cinderelli Nightlight

Maddy got a Cinderella nightlight from Papa C that talks. It's about a foot tall and lights up the entire room. It's actually pretty cool. We finally got it put together last night - not hung up - just put together. Maddy LOVES it. She dances with it and hugs it. We laid in bed and pressed the button over and over again just listening to her talk. It was super sweet to watch. It just made her light up.

The best part. I left the room after she fell asleep and left the remote in her room. When she woke up, she must have seen it - she crawled out of bed and got the remote from her dresser. She played with the nightlight for 15 minutes (while I watched on the monitor) before I went upstairs. Then she played some more after I went to snuggle. Super cute.

So sweet

Tonight, we went up to Papa Carman's house to celebrate Christmas. We had a really nice time. We all ate a good dinner and opened presents soon after. Rhonda also was able to hang out with us for a while which was nice since we never see her. She's quite a treat to be around. I love her sense of humor.

Rhonda got Reagan an awesome music box kit with a drum. Reagan LOVED it. She banged on that thing FOREVER. And boy was it loud. Hmmm. She even had Gama and Papa on the floor with her playing a tune. And yes, I got pics.

Later, when we were leaving, I asked Reagan if she loved Gama. She said "I love Gama and I love Papa too". Awwwwww

Lots of fun

Papa, Joan and I piled in the car to go get Reagan today from LRS. I think she was confused a bit - she was in a daze when she got into the car next to me. She was such a hoot though. She was full of laughter and joy. She was even flirting quite a bit with Papa when we got home. I gave her some goldfish (because it was snack time) and she ate those like crazy. She took the box from me and walked around the living room saying "mmmmmmm". How cute. Every once in a while she'd stop and grin at Papa like "I got the goldfish - ha ha". After a while, Reagan walked over to Papa and requested to be picked up. Wow! Such a huge improvement from the summer. She used to cry when she saw Papa. Now she's a bundle of joy and a total flirt with him. Love it.

Happy Father's Day - Papaw

Tonight we went up to see Jim’s dad for Father’s Day. We went over to the Houston Inn for dinner. I did get Reagan to sit up in a high chair and we fed her carrots and rice. I’m surprised how well she did.

Baseball!

Tonight we went to see our first game of the season. The whole gang went to see the Florence Freedoms – Us plus Grammy and Grampy and Papa Carman. Jordan even brought along a neighborhood friend – Chase. We had a great time. The team played really well. Reagan did wonderful. She hung out on everyone’s laps during the game. When she got a little grumpy, Grammy took her up and got her to sleep for a bit. The Freedom’s won! Woo hoo!!

Papa

Papa came to visit today. He hung out with Reagan and Jordan for a little while. It was nice to see him.
Reagan is making changes by the second. She no longer wants to lay down. She wants to be sitting up and watching the world all the time. If I lay her down, I better be playing with her or she fusses some. It’s really funny to put her in her bouncy seat and watch her try to do a sit up. She just can’t stand to be sitting and doing nothing.
