Feeling Fat today

Okay – I have to tell on myself. I’ve been trying to get the “baby weight” off as most of you know. With that said, today I took Reagan out back to hang out in the sun. She played in her ExerSaucer and I watched and gabbed on the phone. At some point, I decided to move from the concrete steps to one of our folding chairs to watch her play. I started to call my dad and I seemed to shrink rather quickly – then BOOM! I fell through the stupid chair and not only that – I was STUCK!!!! In my defense, these chairs are not real sturdy and they are old. But that really doesn’t make me feel any better about my weight. UGH.
So I called for Jim to come help me. Of course, he gave me grief until I yelled – I NEED HELP! He came down the steps and turned towards where I was and just busted out laughing. And then there were the pictures. :) Enjoy.

3 Outfits already?

By 11am today, Reagan had gone through three outfits. Two blowouts and one spit up. WOW!

Going to Karate

Tonight Grammy came over to watch Reagan while Jim and I went to karate. Reagan lit up so much when my mom walked in. It was cute. She started laughing and seemed excited to see her. From what mom said, Reagan did great. When I got home, she was already down for the night. WOW! My parents were calmly eating pizza at the dinner table. Thanks Mom and Dad!

ExerSaucer vs. Jumparoo

I think she really likes to bounce. I put her in her Exersaucer this morning and she had fun, but she started to get fussy after about 15 minutes. I think that’s pretty good. Since I wanted to get on my computer, I stuck her in her Jumparoo. She’s been bouncing hard for the last 20 minutes and is still going strong. She’s giggling and watching the dogs. When Sydney walked up to her, she reached out to touch her nose. Awww.

Just Hanging

Today was pretty good. Reagan had a good day. She slept most the night and had two really good naps during the day. I gave her solid food at every meal today just to see what she’d do. She didn’t take as much in the morning as she did at night. She usually eats more at night anyway, so I wasn’t really that surprised.

Sleeping again

Thank goodness – she slept through the night. She woke up about 600 am and was hungry. She took a bottle and stayed up for about 90 minutes. I put her back down and she slept (along with everyone else) until about 1000am. Yea Reagan. Let’s hope for a repeat performance tonight.
I'm hoping that all this craziness in the last few weeks meant that she was in a growth spurt. She ate soo much all the time and today she seemed normal. We'll see. :)

Reading with Jordan

Today, Jordan sat with Reagan and read her three books. It was really sweet of her. Reagan just absolutely loves her big sister and it was really neat to see the two of them reading. I think they both enjoyed it.

Laughing out loud for Daddy

Tonight I had Reagan on my lap just hanging out on the couch. Jim came over and started talking and playing with her. He started zerbering her arm and she just started giggling outloud. She laughed so hard it made us laugh. Every time he’d do that, she’d just start laughing uncontrollably.

Turning her head

This morning, I was feeding Reagan some rice cereal and she got almost all the way finished and as I lifted the spoon just one more time she quickly turned her head to the right. I couldn’t believe it. So I tried it again – yep, she was done eating.

Jump Up

She’s really getting the hang of her jumparoo. I think she spent over 30 minutes in it by herself this morning. She gets in that thing and just starts kicking her legs and cooing and laughing. I believe that this toy is her favorite.

Rolling over... sorta

Today she rolled over on the couch. Jim said it didn’t quite count yet because the couch is on an angle. But she definetly has figured out how to do it. The trick is going to be giving her something to reach for that she really really wants I think. I’ll try it again tomorrow to see what happens.

Black and Blue - uh oh

While we were at the game, I put Reagan in her little Jeep Carrier and walked her around in the gift shop with Grampy. When I got back and sat down, Grammy noticed the the bottom of her left leg was blue. We started peeling off her shoes and socks and realized that her socks were really tight. As I pushed up her pants up, I realized her entire leg was blue and red. So we yanked off her pants and I started pushing and poking at her leg – she didn’t seem to care. So I’m guessing that she got her leg pinched in the carrier. I am watching her though just to make sure.

Baseball!

Tonight we went to see our first game of the season. The whole gang went to see the Florence Freedoms – Us plus Grammy and Grampy and Papa Carman. Jordan even brought along a neighborhood friend – Chase. We had a great time. The team played really well. Reagan did wonderful. She hung out on everyone’s laps during the game. When she got a little grumpy, Grammy took her up and got her to sleep for a bit. The Freedom’s won! Woo hoo!!
