Our new jogging stroller!

Reagan and I went for our first walk/jog with the new jogging stroller. It was wonderful. I was a little worried about the front wheel not being able to pivot, but it really wasn’t a big deal. She rode in it fine and I was able to steer it just fine.

Good Morning Reagan

This morning was a first for Reagan. I got up this morning and hopped in the shower before going to get her out of bed. Reagan got up and started cooing in her crib. So Jim went upstairs and got her out of bed. I think it was a slight surprise for Reagan – she’s so used to me waking her up. It was really sweet to hear Jim talking to her over the monitor while I was getting dressed!

My New Jogging Stroller!!

Tonight when I got home from karate, Jim had a really nice surprise for me – He put together my jogging stroller!!!! Wooo hoooo! I am so excited. It is totally cool and I think Reagan likes it. I’m using it tomorrow!

Nap Time

Today we had a really good day with naps. She took two solid naps early and was on schedule for another nap when she got to Grammy and Grampy’s house. Both of my parents told me how much of a difference there was in her demeanor that evening. She was playful and happy. While it was somewhat difficult to get her to sleep, she did sleep for about an hour. WOW! Good job!

Spiders are scary

I took little miss out for a ride in the stroller today and as I was leaving the driveway, I spotted a baby brown spider on top of the headrest. Ahhh I freaked. I flicked it off and told myself to calm down. So I continued on for our walk and got about a block away before I spotted a baby black spider on the canopy! Ok – that was Way too much for my brain to handle. All I could think about was little miss getting bitten and how much it would hurt. Not good. Needless to say, I freaked and turned around pretty fast. Our walk was all of five minutes. Oh Well.

Motorboat

This morning she started to do a “motorboat” sound with her lips. It’s funny. Other times she sounds like she’s trying to get a “b” sound out. I was able to get her to do it on command to some extend. Every time she made the sound, I would say “do it again” in a very excited voice. Her response was a laugh followed by the sound again. We did that for about 30 minutes tonight before she went to bed.

She is changing too fast for me! This morning on the changing table, she grabbed a hold of her right big toe and pulled it up towards her head. I’m waiting for her to suck on her toes… hmmm how weird.

Who's holding me?

Sunday School was a little different this morning. Normally her nap time coincides with SS – which is really nice. She usually wakes up right before it ends and is hungry. Well today, she woke up a tad early and seemed happy. Several of the ladies in the group have expressed an interest in holding her during our class. Well, this morning, when Reagan woke up, I passed her along. She did fine. She usually wakes up pretty happy and content. It was very strange not to be holding her – but nice.
