Sleeping on the couch
I slept on the couch last night just in case she decided to wake up several times. For some reason, when I sleep in the bed, I have a much harder time getting up with her. Of course, that means she slept all the way through the night. Thank goodness. I woke up at 530 am and realized she had made it all the way through. Yea!

Sleeping on her own?!
This afternoon was the first time that she was able to sleep on her own without me helping her. I was too tired to rock her or hold her so I just swaddled her and put her in her crib. I walked away and figured she’d start screaming. I came downstairs and got on the computer and waited. Nothing. She actually went to sleep! WOW! There is a first time for everything. I hope it is a new trend for her.
No sleep again.
Well, last night she woke up again. I can’t figure out why, but this was the third night in a row! So this morning, when I put her down for her morning nap, I just held her in the rocker and slept myself. I needed the extra sleep.

When will she sleep
Well, last night she woke up again. So this morning I put her down at 530am and let her sleep. Needless to say, we skipped church so I could sleep.
Mario Cart Party
Today was our Mario Cart Release party. We had a bunch of people over and played the new Mario Cart. It was a lot of fun. Reagan did surprisingly well. She did take a couple of naps – not full ones – but was too jazzed by all the company.

No Sleep
Reagan had a really hard time sleeping last night for some reason. She went down late and got up about every three hours. Every time I heard her cooing/fussing, I would let her go to see if she could get herself back to sleep. After about 15 minutes each time, I walked up the stairs and picked her up and rocked her to sleep. The first two times I went upstairs, she went back to sleep pretty fast. When she woke up at 430am, she had no interest in sleeping. It took me an hour to get her back to sleep.

Tummy time success
Finally, she had a good tummy time experience. I started playing with her a little more during tummy time after a suggestion from my friend Emily. It worked. She still didn’t really care for it, but it seemed to be much less traumatic for her. I also made her roll over onto her back and to her tummy. She liked it. Every time I rolled her from her back to her stomach, she smiled real big. It was cute. So I just kept doing that over and over again. Hopefully our next tummy time will be as fun.
