Flap flap flap
Yes, she flaps her hands together – or she opens and closes her hands all the time. She’s moved passed the staring at her hands and moved on to being mesmerized by the fact that they move in certain ways.
Today I wanted to just chill with Reagan and really enjoy her. She wants to be out of her toys more and more and just hang out on the floor to explore. She is bored easily and always wants to do more with new stuff. We went outside to see “life” and played a bunch on the floor. She slept pretty well during the day, but didn’t ever seem to be fully rested. She had a hard time going to sleep tonight, which is pretty normal considering all the excitement from the day before.

Going to Lynn's again
Well – today is a big day. I’m dropping Reagan off for her second trial run before I go back to work. I’m such a spaz – I’m already having trouble thinking about going back to work much less actually being gone from her 45 hours a week. I hope it goes well.
Update
Reagan did GREAT today. She didn’t cry. Matter of fact, Lynn called bragging about the fact that she didn’t cry after I left. So hopefully she’ll make the transition ok. I still worry – but I always will I guess. After we got home, she was wiped out. She ended up going to be a little early and sleeping through the night.

Hands are cool
She is cracking me up. She has been checking out her hands lately. She’ll start reaching for something and catch a glimpse of her hands and just stop and stare. She’ll move them around just completely mesmerized by them. How funny is that?

Pick me up!
Oh my gosh – she reaches for me. It is just the cutest thing. Whenever I approach her to pick her up I clap my hands and say “want up?” She looks up and reaches up for me. I just love it so much. I can’t believe how much she is growing up.
Today I thought we would just hang out to get a little rest from the weekend. We were very busy and I wanted to give her some “down time”. She really enjoys playing on the floor, so we did that quite a bit today. She slept so well during her naps that I was able to get a really good workout in.
Grammy came over to see us today too. She was watching Eric’s two youngest boys for a few days while he and Tonia were gone. Reagan and I went down to meet Grammy at the model home to walk around and check stuff out. Anytime we go someplace new, she gets so curious. She cranes her neck around to look at everything she can. She watched Daniel and Joseph quite a bit while were there. Afterwards, we all came back here to relax and get some water. What a hot day.

Weekend with Andrea
Well, we picked Andrea up on Thursday afternoon and took her back to the airport today. The weekend was wonderful in so many ways - I just hated to take Andrea to the airport. I didn’t want the weekend to end. Reagan really got attached to her very quickly. It was amazing. She went to her almost right away and really clung to her the whole time. Reagan was in great spirits all weekend and things just couldn’t have worked out better.
Andrea (or Aunt Andrea as I call her to Reagan) seemed to really enjoy her as well.
It was a little odd this morning – Reagan actually did her little “I’m rebelling cry” after Andrea said goodbye to her. I know she probably didn’t have a clue that she was leaving town – but I wondered for a brief moment if she did.
Aunt Andrea – thanks for such a great weekend! We can’t wait to see you again.
