Well, she did pretty well the second time in the Erlanger Baptist Church nursery. She got a little upset when we dropped her off, but we were still able to stay in the church service. And not only that, she was happy by the time we picked her up too. That’s always nice.
After church, we went to BBRus to pick up a second car seat and run some other small errands and then go home. We wanted to have a lazy day and definetly got that. Emily and Paul brought Sean over to hang out. We relaxed for a while before heading up to the pool. Sean and Reagan loved the pool. It was Sean’s first time in one and he did great. Once dinner was over, I sat down on the couch and almost passed out. I was exhausted and ready for bed. Tomorrow is my first day at work. Ugh.

Rolling over
She is rolling over finally and without any grand fanfare. She rolled over probably because I wasn’t pushing her at all. I put some blocks well out of her reach and just laid her down on her belly and let her play. She ended up reaching for my camera on the ground and just rolled over. Just like that. Simple. Done. I looked up at Jim and said “well honey, she just rolled over from her belly.” Hmmm. The funny thing is, she did it twice in a row and then rolled the other way too. So officially she can roll over. We just now know she doesn’t like to. :) Thank goodness.
Today was my last easy day at home with Reagan. I wanted to just enjoy our last home day together – just me and her. It was pretty easy. She decided she didn’t need a nap in the morning, so I just packed her up early and went over to Dad’s shop. We went to lunch at Rima’s and enjoyed the afternoon with him. I fed her quite a large lunch before we left, so she just played and played while we ate. It was nice. After lunch, mom came over to hang out with us for a little while. She finally calmed down about 330pm and took a nap. Thank goodness for the easy day.
After work, Jim and I took off to the new Florence Cinemas to see “The Dark Night”. The movie was very intense – not something I was really ready for. I knew it would be a good movie, but jus wasn’t ready for the “darkness” of the flick. It was, however, fantastic. Heath Ledge really was a sick character – very disturbing. I can’t imagine being of clear mind and being able to pull off that character the way he did. It definitely made me wonder if he didn’t get too involved in the mental state of The Joker.

Waving
She is waving now. It takes her a few times, but she has started to copy me and my mom waving. So cute.
Those aren't pillows!
Actually they were and Reagan loved them. When we went to say prayers and tuck Jordan in, we laid Reagan down on her bed. Jordan has multiple fluffy pillows on her bed and we figured out that Reagan likes them too. She would grab one and plant her face into it and just ruuubbbbbbbbbb. So cute. Jordan didn’t seem to mind.
Snugglebutt!
Tonight Reagan was a total snuggle butt. She was hugging me and kissing me (or slobbering on me with an open mouth) and just had to be on me all night. It was so cute. When she wouldn’t go to sleep, I brought her downstairs to sit on the couch. I had her on my belly with some toys and she just leaned forward and laid chest to chest with me. She kept lifting her head and looking at me and then burying her face in my neck. After a while, Jordan showed up and put her head on my shoulder to snuggle. Reagan then started snuggling with both of us. She squirmed her way on my chest over to where Jordan was (on my shoulder) and kept kissing us and nuzzling. It was just so adorable. I think she missed us.
Going to Lynn's again
Today was the second day in a row for Reagan to hang out with Lynn. We’re tryinig to get her used to a routine over at her home and figured two days in a row was better than just one. I dropped her off and took off to run some errands. Today was my “pamper” day. I went and got a makeover at the Clinique counter, picked up some supplies for Lynn’s house and worked out. I was hoping to get my toes done, but it didn’t workout. Oh well. Lynn called me about 1200 noon and let me know that she was doing great. She had eaten both her bottle and was starting to take her second nap of the day. Wow. That made me feel good. At the end of the day, mom went with me to pick her up. Lynn did have a good story for us. Apparently Reagan likes to fart. She and Lynn were sitting on the floor just hanging out when she fell silent. Reagan started looking around and then lifted a butt cheek and farted. Not only that, she giggled when she was done. I’m so proud of her.
