Fun so far today
When Jim dropped Reagan off at LRS, he wanted to show off her new "skills". She had been kissing, clapping and waving so well the last few days. When he handed her off to Amy, he said "have her kiss you." So she did. Reagan opened up and did her "mwaaaa" against her cheek. Then he said said "good job Reagan" and she tried to clap. She couldn't because she had her pink snuggly in her hands. She looked at it, threw it on the floor and then proceeded to clap. How cute!

Back to the doctor - again
Reagan slept pretty well last night. She slept from about 915pm to 5am. She woke up for a while - I gave her a bottle, but she went back to sleep until about 8am. Jim took Reagan back to the doctor this morning because she still didn't seem well enough not to. We were still concerned that she was not healing and wanted to make sure she was doing ok. She didn't have a fever this morning but was a little squinky.
The report back was that her left ear was much better but her right ear was still a problem. The doctor said that it was still bulging some and did not feel that it was better enough not to do more treatment. ugh.
Needless to say, she got a third shot in her leg. That poor thing. Jim said she did fine. After the shot, she did cry some, but not that much. He took her out into the playroom and they played with the toys while they waited for 20 minutes to see if she had a reaction.
After he left there, he dropped her off at LRS. Reagan went straight to Amy (thank goodness). Hopefully she has a good day.

Hold my blanket please
This afternoon I tried to put Reagan down for a nap and she wanted to play. She kept putting her blanket in my hand. She'd open my fingers, pick up her blanky and then put it in my hand. How cool is that?
All sorts of stuff
Reagan is really starting to copy everything you do - like "monkey see, monkey do". It's really cute. Reagan clapped while I was out today. Jim said that she was copying stuff kids on Baby Einstein. She was clapping and also kissing a bunch today. The other neat thing is that Sydney was licking (or kissing) her and she started licking the air. She was copying her. How cute.
She's also pulling up on stuff, sitting up from laying down and just changing everytime I turn around. Today, I laid her down for a nap and left the room. She cooed and played for a while, but eventually started fussing. I made my way upstairs after several minutes figuring she was stuck or something. Nope, she was sittin gup playing with the turtle that now hangs from the top of her crib. When I got upstairs and started talking wit her, she pulled herself up from a seated position. This morning, she did a full deep squat - she was sitting on the ground, grabbed a hold of the dresser, planted both feet flat and stood up. She turned around to look at me like "now what?".
I'm really amazed how much she has grown in just the last two weeks. Wow.

No nine month pictures
Well today was the day we were going to take both girls in and get pictures of the "sisters" and then also get Reagan's nine month old picture. Apparently, Reagan just was not in the mood. We tried. We showed up, she cried, we rescheduled, we left. UGH. Oh well.
