Today was another easy day. Because Reagan was well enough to go to daycare at church, we were able to pack up and all go to church for the first time in over a month. We got everyone bundled up, packed into the car and drove off to EBC. We dropped Reagan off at her class, dropped Jordan off at the KidZone and Jim and I went to service in the sanctuary. Yea!
It was a great sermon on “Is God Mad”? It was around God’s Wrath and what it means. I really enjoyed listening to the Pastor Derek. He has an interesting style and seems to be very approachable. We like that about him. That plus he seems “real”.
Anyway, after church, the girls went with Grammy & Grampy to FirstWatch and Jim went home to watch the Bengals play on TV. Of course, during brunch, Jordan offered up “how bored” she was at church. Yea… blah blah blah… isn’t every kid bored at church? I don’t know that I ever told my parents that… or dared to. LOL.
After lunch, we went home and relaxed. The evening was pretty lazy. Jim took Jordan to basketball and I played with Reagan. After her bottle, she crawled over to her walker which meant she wanted to fly around the house. So I took that opportunity to get on the piano for a while. As soon as I started playing, she came running over and did her little rocking thing that she does when music is being played. She clapped and giggled every time I played anything upbeat. How sweet. I eventually picked her up and stuck her on my lap. She immediately started playing. She’d make two big strokes on the piano and then turn around with a huge smile on her face. Awwww.

We had a really nice day today. Reagan got up at 600am and went back to sleep quickly after a bottle. She and Jordan both slept until about 900am. I rolled over and saw the clock and neither Jim nor I could believe we actually slept in!
Jim took the girls to the karate school which gave me ample time to workout. Yea!! Jordan started taking karate again and asked to go this morning, so we both jumped on that. I'm glad she's interested again. Maybe it's because we aren't making her take it.
Anyway, they got back and Jim took off to meet some folks for lunch. We played with the baby for a while and after she went down for a nap, Jordan and I went to the basement to workout. She and I did the cardio workout together - she did pretty well.
It's nice to have a day when there is not a whole lot to report.

My first piano
Reagan now has her first grand piano. Of course it's not real, but it sure is cute. We set it up and she started pounding on it right away. She really seems to like all kinds of music and I hope we can keep her exposed to all types. My parents played classical in the background at all times (or so they tell me). But I want to play every kind of music I can - classical, country, rock, gospel. I think classical music is important, but I want her to love it all.
Pointing
Reagan is pointing at everything. She is able to identify all of us including the dogs. I'll be curious to see if she can point to Grammy and Grampy when they come over. Jim has been working with her some with pictures on the wall. He shows her all the pictures and asks her to point out different faces. It's so neat to see her.
She points with a big L! It looks like sometimes she's calling you a big loser - but we know better.

GNO
I actually went out with the girls tonight. I met Cristina and two of her friends out at Andy's. We sat and had a cocktail and gabbed for a couple hours. We didn't do much, but it was very nice to just get out for a little bit.
Love the dryer
Today I picked Reagan up at LRS and she was hugging and banging on the dryer. I amnot sure why she was hugging it at all. I walked in when she was banging on it over and over and over again. Then she'd stop and act like she was hugging it. Odd. Maybe it was warm.
Apparently she was goofy like that all day. Amy said she was making them all laugh with all the goofy things she would do. She'd giggle and then stop to make sure you were looking and then giggle some more.
I guess she is finally feeling better!

Sorting
Reagan likes to sort things at dinner. Tonight we put a bunch of different things on her tray to eat like cheerios, puffs, and fruit. She started eating them but soon decided they all needed to go into the cup holder. Hmmm
