She is officially walking. Tonight Reagan and Jordan were playing upstairs near the Christmas tree and Jordan let go of Reagan. She just stood there and then started walking. She took four steps, three steps, five steps. Once she took four steps and then did a little jump hop thingy and fell on her butt. But the best - she did 17 steps. 17 steps down the hallway to the play room!

Crazy conditions, crazy drivers
Driving home this afternoon was completely nuts. I left a little early because I had schedule a picture session for the girls. What I didn't know was the roads were getting icy and that it was sleeting out. Ugh.
It took me about 45 minutes to get to Erlanger. On the way home I saw a five-car accident on Ronald Reagan Highway - two of the cars were pretty smashed up. I saw a large 4x4 pick up truck do two 360s across the south bound lanes of I75 South near Erlanger and I watched many other acts of stupidity. I wasn't white knuckling it, but I was close.
I was going to run some errands after the picture session but quickly decided it might be best to just go on home. Wow what a night.

Picture day
Wow - did they look absolutely beautiful. The girls - all dressed up in party dresses - I can't believe it. I about cried when I walked in and saw Jordan posing so nicely. She was just glowing. Reagan looked so adorable in her little burgundy outfit. They did great. Reagan made it about one hour before she started to "crinkle" (as my mom says). She did about 40 minutes in one outfit and 20 in another. Just too cute.

Standing, walking...
She is standing on her own for long periods of time now. We've seen her take steps by herself, but then crouch down quickly to "not walk". We're waiting for the day she just takes steps!

New thing
Today I noticed a new "thing" that Reagan started doing. She looks at her hand when her fingers are out straight and rubs her index finger and middle finger together. Very odd. She seems mesmerized by it all.
