So tired and exhausted

Tonight was very busy. I stayed upstairs with both girls after work until Grampy came over. Once he got there, the evening just started to roll along well. Grammy came over, dinner arrived. We ate. G&G took Reagan upstairs for a bath. I gave Jordan a flute lesson. Reagan pooped in the tub. Reagan hit my foot (not covered) with a toy and caused a TON of pain. Love that. Grammy went home. I got to hold Reagan in her rocking chair. We snuggled. Grampy put her in bed. Jim got home. I want to pass out.

That's it. I don't think I could do much more tonight.

Emily and Paul

Tonight, we met Emily and Paul out for dinner with the kids. We probably had not seen them in over a month. It was really good to see them and see how much the kids have changed. Sean has grown so much - it's just amazing. Tomorrow is his birthday too. Woo hooo - he's one.

The kids did great - they both ate and played. We even got them down to watch them walk. Sean was hilarous. He would pick his little feet up and kick them out before putting them back on the ground. Just so darn cute!!!

After we got Reagan down, she "ran" to catch up to them. After a few moments of play in the restaurant, we bundled them back up. I didn't want to be "that parent that lets her kid run crazy". :)

I found my belly button

Jim brought Reagan down to me in her diaper (with her clothes in tow) to feed her a bottle. When she's done drinking it, I usually get her dressed and set her down to start terrorizing the dogs. :)

This morning, she was sitting on my lap and she started playing with her belly button. I'm sure she's seen it before, but today she just cracked me up. She found it, stuck her finger in it and then said "ooohhhhhh" and looked at me. I haven't laughed that hard in a long time. She was so cute! "ohhhhhh" Like she was discovering something for the first time.

New sounds

She's got a couple new sounds - an owl and a train.
Her owl is "ooooooo" and her train is "ooo - ooo". Sometimes she can put a "ch" kinda sound in front of it, but not every time.

So now she's got a pretty cool bunch of sounds - owl, monkey, cow, chicken, train, dog, duck (kinda)

I wanna go upstairs

Tonight was the first time that Reagan asked to go upstairs. She wanted to go and play with her stuff up there. I was really amazed. We do keep a completely different set of toys up there and I guess she knows that. We took her up there and she went straight to her jack in the box and sat down. How cute is that?

The Tent

Jordan has a pink camo tent. Of course, she doesn't play with it anymore. But today, Jim went and found it and put it up in the living room. He heeee.

Slept through finally

She slept through the night finally. Friday night was really rough. She didn't sleep well at all - she couldn't get to sleep and then woke up early. Last night, she went to bed early without a peep and slept all night. She woke up at 730am. Jim and I acctually had a good night's sleep. Not only that, but she also took an early nap. Hmmm. I wonder if her cold is knocking her out some.
