We all packed up today after Reagan's nap and headed over to Christy and Spanky's house for Jack's second birthday party. Woo hoo! Mr. Man is growing up. He is just way too cute. Super blonde hair and blue eyes and just a cute personality.
Reagan had a blast with his toys. :) Christy had set up the water table for the kids to play on and Reagan had a blast. She played with another young girl for a while - even shared some. But for the most part, she just splashed and got completely soaked.
She and Jack played with some ballons in the house for a bit. That was cute. They both were juming up and down for a while and having a great time.
After a few hours, she had a meltdown which caused us to leave. Unfortunately it was right in the middle of them opening gifts. Ugh.

Tooth #12
Well, I guess the 3rd one on the bottom needed some company because the fourth one across the bottom decided to peek out as well. No wonder she's been cranky!

Tooth #11
Reagan has been a little bit cranky in the last week and putting her entire hand in her mouth, so I thought I'd see if she was cutting any teeth. I put my finger in her mouth a few nights ago and could feel it, but it didn't seem like it was all the way through. Tonight, I was putting some stuff on her gums and got a good bite from her.
If my finger has permanent teeth marks, does that mean it's through?

Ear checkup today
Today, we all went to the doctor's office to get Reagan's ears checked. She had tubes put in about a month ago and today was to make sure all was well. Her ears were clear, her tubes were ok and her hearing test was excellent! Yea!! I was so relieved to hear that (no pun intended).
It's been really nice in the last month to not have to deal with antibiotics and nasty goo from her nose and sleepless nights. Thank goodness.

But Not the Hippo
Reagan now has a new favorite book. It's called "But Not the Hippopotamus". She LOVES it. I had read it to her a few times, but once Jim started reading it to her, it was all over.
He has such a way of reading books with her that completely draws her attention in that she will actually focus on him. It's so darn cute when he starts reading this book - she laughs when she's supposed to. She even points at the hippo at the end of each phrase to get him to say "but not the hippopotamus".
That has now become the last part of our bedtime routine. I have to read it and then "dadda" must read it (and in that order because I am SURE that she likes his version better).
How cute.

Playtime
Playtime is getting different for Reagan. She no longer stays in the living room or the play room, she tends to venture out a bit more (or I should say - she RUNS around the house). She is definetly changing how she plays and interacts. She is constantly trying new things and quite frankly accomplishes new things daily. It's almost overwhelming to sit her and type. I try to write something that she does every day. But lately, she does so much that it's hard to write at all.
I think her favorite activity now is getting up into Jim's office chair and spinning until she can't walk. She cackles the entire time. And if you are in the room with her, she'll say "sit" and wait for you to sit and then spin.
My baby is really no longer a baby. She's definetly moving out of that time and moving into a little girl. I hope I can keep up with her so she has something to look back on years from now.
