Can you say "Awesome"!?
Reagan can - and quite well I might add.
Just ask her - it's just the cutest thing.

Full fledge potty training underway
We are now having tons of fun potty training Ms. Reagan. She's been really good about telling us when she has to go to the bathroom. Today, we caught it three times (twice poopies :)). I'm thrilled.
Jim got home from his trip to Nashville and he was holding Reagan when she said "poopy?" and pointed to her butt. He was walking towards me and I called out - "go to the bathroom, she'll go". She did. I figured out this weekend that if I have something to keep her interest while she's sitting, she'll actually go.
It's so cool!
Keep your fingers crossed!!

Hmmmm
So tonight she did it. She asked to go poopy as I was pulling her out of the tub. I plopped her down on the toilet with her "toys" and she did it!! Whooo hoooooO!!!!
Reality check for mama
Lately I've been really struggling to find balance with myself. Stress and work and kids and life have gotten in the way of me even attempting to take care of myself. Needless to say, I constantly feel worn down mentally and physically. Both things are reminders that I need to do something to get back into shape.
So I thought, I'll get on the scale to see the damage, even thought I didn't want to see what was there. I figured it might be some incentive to do something.
Uh yea. Not only do I "feel" completely out of shape (tired and worn down), but the numbers said it to me loud and clear. I've put on 8 pounds since I started my latest contract started and my achilles surgery - all in the last 6 months.
So today I'm starting over on P90x! After I put Reagan in bed, I'm going to the basement to try to get back into shape - one day at a time. (and 12 pounds to go!)
Anyone with me?

Potty training might work
So today we took Reagan back to the doctor for yet another rash. Geez... this kid gets rashes all the time. But that's not the big news. Today we were hanging out in the room, waiting for the doc to show up, and Reagan said "poo poo" and pointed at the door.
I didn't know what to do - we were stuck in a room but I knew she had to go. So I just didn't worry about it. So she went - in her diaper - but in the room. Oh well. One opportunity missed.
But isn't it cool that she knew and asked!
I'm so excited.

Pee pee in the potty - woo hoo
Tonight I got home about 10pm and Reagan was still stiring. My parents had put her down an hour before, but she never seemed to be able to calm down. So after they left, I thought I'd just check on her.
As soon as I got in her room, she said "mama peepee". So I asked her if she had to go - she nodded her head. So I picked her up to change her diaper and she shouted "NO!" while pointing towards the bathroom.
So I picked her up and plopped her down on her little toilet. And guess what... she peed in the toilet. It took about 10 minutes, but she did it. Wooaaahhhh. So coolio!

How wet can she get?
Reagan and I took went over the park again today. Apparently it had rained some because the slides were wet and the spongy surface was, in some areas, quite squishy. We ran around and played on all the dry stuff, but that soon wasn't enough for her. I finally gave in and just let her go down the slide with a nice pool of water at the bottom.
Wow - I had no idea how much water her shorts would hold. After she got up, she grabbed her butt, giggled and said waaaer? and pointed down. Yep. Water.
After a bit, Papa showed up and helped me run around after her. She had us quite busy for a bit. Eventually she found the other slides with the water on them and decideed it was time to play on those too. At first, she just put her hand in. Then she grabbed Papa's hand and put his in it and giggled. Waa-aaerr? Yep babe - it's water.
The next thing I knew, Reagan had thrown herself face first onto the puddle of water at the bottom of the slide. She stood up so proud of herself - Papa and I just watched in amazement. She was giggling and patting her belly. She was now soaked from top to bottom and front to back. The only thing left were her shoes and hair. Hmmm.
So tonight, we got home and I sat her in her chair for dinner. I took her soaked shirt off of her and pushed her in. We ate dinner and just played for a bit. After we were done eating, it was time for a bath. I pulled her out and began to pull off her shoes and socks. Ok - they were soaked too.
I'm not sure how she did it honestly, but she succeeded tonight in getting completely soaked from head to toe, front to back... but not her head. Wow!
