Sushi and kids

Tonight we went out to eat at our new fav restaurant. Jordan and I had sushi while Jim and Reagan had cooked varieties of the same thing. Due to Reagan's outstanding grumpiness levels lately, I ended up holding her through the entire meal. (how silly is that).

By the end of the meal, I had more rice, peas and other interesting things spilled on me, down my leg and in places unknown.

How is this that I'm chosen for these things...

Wakey Daddy

I left to get my girl while both Jim and JOrdan were sleeping off their colds. As soon as we hit the door, I said to REagan, "go wake up daddy".

Her little legs couldn't carry her fast enough. She scurried right over to the side of the bed, pointed at Jim sleeping and said "Daddy - seeepy". That went on long enough that Daddy wakey. :) he heeee. My plan was in action.

She crawled up on the bed and cuddled right in next to him and just started talkin'. Seepy, seepy, Daddy Daddy. Once she got tired of that - finding that it wasn't really working - she started jumping on the bed. That totally worked.

Jim got up, but we played for a long time just watching her jump and laugh and jump and laugh.

Ahhh... what a way to get rid of stress.

Sickies

What happened to everyone today?

I got a call at work - JOrdan's sick. I got half way to camp to get Jordan - Jim's coming home sick.

At least Reagan wasn't sick. I couldn't do more than two folks down for the afternoon.

Cranky McGee

Well Reagan did not sleep last night at all. About 3:30 am, I woke up to her crying and she didn't stop. So I ended up holding her all night. Let me tell you how tired I am today.

Lazy Day

We didn't do much at all today... but she did walk up the stairs all by herself!

Boone County Fair 2009

Today, we went to the Boone County Fair for some fun rides and animal fun for the kiddies. Jordan and I got on a ride that spun us around and aournd and I totally made the mistake of sitting on the inside. I was flung out and ended up totally squishing her within 30 seconds of being flung around. It was hilarious. Unfortunately, Reagan is such a mama's girl sometimes that she cried the whole time. Oh well.

After that, Jim and Jordan rode a racer ride as well. They looked like they were having a great time.

Next we went to the petting zoo. Jim and Jordan walked Reagan around to look at all the animals. Reagan and Jordan got to pet a lamb. That was pretty cool. I had a lamb pee right next to me. That was awesome.

All in all, it was ok. Nothing great. But still a nice afternoon.

Stringing word together

I know I'm in trouble now - not only is Reagan learning how to put three words together to form some basic sentences, but she's gotten really good at telling us what to do.

The last several nights, she's been pushing her vocabulary more and more. Mom and Dad watched her tonight so we could grab a movie and we got a full report on how well she's doing with directives and stringing way to much together for me. :)

Watch our world - my girl is wordy and bossy. Woo hoo.
