New friends - old places

So I met a woman that actually not only knows where Malone, NY is but also lived there at one point in her life. Matter of fact, her family (specifically her in-laws) still live there.

But the super cool thing about it is, she got pictures of our old house while she was up there this week on vacation. :)

It's a God thing!

Tonight was an amazing night. Jim and I had planned to make a bunch of chicken to eat a few nights out as well as have for lunch. At the last minute on Sunday, we invited my parents up to share in the food. While we were grilling out, we looked across the street and noticed that someone was at the Pastor's old house... it was the Pastor and his wife. I couldn't believe it.

Jim asked if it was, and I just walked over there. To my surprise, they were in town to pack the house and were going out to eat. So I invited them up and they said yes.

Such a huge blessing. We hadn't seen them since Reagan was born. We loved having them as neighbors (as well as our Pastor for a while). So they came up and joined the whole family for dinner.

And believe it or not, Reagan contained a temper tantrum. She had taken Dad's knife and my fork and was not being very careful with them - so I wanted to take them away. So I announced - "it's going to get loud" and began to take them from her hands. She got very squinky and looked around and just looked so mad. But she did nothing. It was so weird. She didn't scream, she didn't make a peep. Then she all of a sudden, launched herself to me and cried. That was it.

HOLY COW!!!

Thank you God!

Movie Trailer - GForce

Has anyone seen the trailer for GForce (the animated movie)? Do you remember when GForce was being held by they guy in the pet store and he asked "what do I do, what do i do?" I think the mice said "poop in his hand, poop in his hand".

Yea, Reagan did that. (I had a diaper covering my hand, but still)

It's Friday!

Today I took Reagan to get her "summer pics" done. I was hoping to do them at 18-months, but I just completely forgot all about it. Oh well.

Reagan did ok. She wasn't thrilled about any of it, but she tolerated it well. I only had to deal with one temper tantrum and it was pretty low-key considering the last few I've seen.

Once the pictures were done, she was off to playing with all the other kids dressed up (and no place to go) while they were waiting to get their pictures taken.

2-year old room

Woo hoo. We just got told that Reagan can move up early to the 2-year old room. I'm totally excited.

She is MORE than ready. She actually knows 80% of what they would teach her in the 2-year old room and she's plenty big. We're hoping that she's ready socially.

But according to her teachers, she is.

Yea baby girl!

I'm totally grossed out now

Um, I might actually vomit, but I must share. And you might vomit then too.

TOnight, Reagan said she had to "poopy". So she crawled off my lap, grabbed a book (nice) and went to the bathroom. And she did do as she said she had to do. But because of my role, the helper, I had to wipe.

This is so unfair.

Corn... that's all I'm saying.
