Tonight at dinner, Reagan was hilarious. We were hanging out at Max & Erma's and she decided that it was time for us all to take turns getting our hands traced by Nana (Reagan). She'd trace part of our hand and then switch mid-trace and call out "Mimi's turn" or the next person in line. She's putting together three-word sentences really well now and just coming up with new words all the time.
When I picked Reagan up from school, her teacher said "she's just talking up a storm". She said that she was quiet up until after her nap. I just looked at her like she was nuts. I don't recall Reagan ever being quiet - ever!

Reading?
Apparently Reagan does not like us to read to her anymore. Hmm. I tried to read to her tonight and she wanted nothing to do with it - she wanted to read to herself. Oddly enough, she was satisfied with that which meant I could sit back and wait for her to get through a few books before I put her in bed.
I'm sure this will change again, as everything else does with her. I'm just enjoy watching her do this stuff. :)

Geting so close it's scary
She's so close to doing so many things. She counted to five tonight with some coaxing and did most of her alphabet. Wow! I think the best thing tonight was when I said "Reagan, come here"... she came running towards me shouting "coming!"
Awww.

ABCs & 1 2 3s
I'm not impressed... she sings the ABC song all day long. She keeps trying and trying and trying. I'm just waiting for it to connect.
That and she's working on her numbers more and more. We're watching Sesame street this morning and she was trying to count along. So cool.

Good drop off - cya mommy
This morning was a first. I got Reagan up and took her to school. When we got there, I put her down on the floor with her milk and proceeded to put her bowl and spoon on the table. She immediately pulled out the chair, grabbed the spoon and started to sit down. She then looked at me and said "cereal?".
I poured the cereal and looked at the teacher like "what the heck?". All she said was "she loves it here" and I took off. Wow - no crying and sitting down like a big girl! Sniff sniff

The Big side of the Park
Apparently Reagan is a dare devil. Today, Jim took her and jordan up to the park. He told me when I got home that she went down the "tall slide" and climbed the ladder all by herself. Now you might think a ladder is no big deal, but it's not a normal one. It's the rounded kinds that I played on when I was a kid. It's got the huge gaping holes between each rung and doesn't go straight up - it's in the shape of an oval. Hmmm. I'll have to take a picture.
Her new favorite shows
Well, Reagan has graduated onto to toddler shows officially. She now gets into Elmo (seriously), Sesame Street (knows all the characters), Dora (not sure why) and Blue's Clues. Hmmm.
