Jim got home last night from his trip to Washington D.C. He was a chaperone on the 6th Grade Trip and got to hang out with Jordan all week. I can't wait to see pictures. That aside, I am enjoying some much needed time on the computer and loving the small, but needed break.
He's loving all the attention from Reagan. They're playing all sorts of games in the living room - hide and seek, computer, dora.

Blowing Bubbles
Over the last week or so, Reagan's been blowing bubbles in the tub fairly well. TOnight, Jim was hanging out with her during bathtime and she asked him to blow bubbles in the tub. Of course, he did. He stuck his whole face in the tub and blew. She giggled and followed suit - she blew bubbles.

Day Two without hubby
Last night, Reagan and I went to the cool toy store in Crestview to see what stuff we could get into. I found this really cool toy faucet that pulls the water from the tub so you don't have to run the water from the real faucet and waste a ton of water (and money).
I put it together after a few trips up and down the steps looking for batteries and a screw driver. I was WONDERFUL! Oh my. This thing pulls water up from the bottom of the tub and spits it back out. It's got some nifty cups with different types of holes in them. She had a blast. Matter of fact, she flipped out when I told her it was time to get out.
That was a really good $15 spent!

Wow - that's all I can say
My husband sent me a link to some guy on Letterman years ago. Maybe some of you remember him - Stevie Starr the Regurgitator?

Wonder what made him do this stuff?

Who's turn is it now?
Tonight at dinner, Reagan was hilarious. We were hanging out at Max & Erma's and she decided that it was time for us all to take turns getting our hands traced by Nana (Reagan). She'd trace part of our hand and then switch mid-trace and call out "Mimi's turn" or the next person in line. She's putting together three-word sentences really well now and just coming up with new words all the time.
When I picked Reagan up from school, her teacher said "she's just talking up a storm". She said that she was quiet up until after her nap. I just looked at her like she was nuts. I don't recall Reagan ever being quiet - ever!

Reading?
Apparently Reagan does not like us to read to her anymore. Hmm. I tried to read to her tonight and she wanted nothing to do with it - she wanted to read to herself. Oddly enough, she was satisfied with that which meant I could sit back and wait for her to get through a few books before I put her in bed.
I'm sure this will change again, as everything else does with her. I'm just enjoy watching her do this stuff. :)

Geting so close it's scary
She's so close to doing so many things. She counted to five tonight with some coaxing and did most of her alphabet. Wow! I think the best thing tonight was when I said "Reagan, come here"... she came running towards me shouting "coming!"
Awww.
