My iMac has arrived

This might be the coolest thing ever!!! I've been looking at a new computer for a while. Jim's been bugging me to order something - decide. Well I did. I chose Mac! But even after I chose Mac, I still waited... for the perfect timing. I looked, pondered, waited, and looked some more. Then, I heard about a new model. I had to wait for that.


Well my wait was over when Jim got tired of me waiting and just ordered the thing. So three weeks ago, or so, Jim went online and clicked a few buttons. Then I had to wait even more - it was a preorder... they weren't shipping yet. Ugh.

Then we got a ship date and watched as it moved from Shanghi to Anchorage to Erlanger. It sat. Then it came.

It's here!!!

We gotta get potty trained

Yea - this is the second time she's peed in a corner. Ugh. I took her out of the bath tonight and she said "potty". But as soon as I stuck her on the potty, she said "no teeth". Hmmm. Against my gut, I put her up on the stool, dried her off and let her hop down to get a diaper on. She promptly ran into her bedroom, went behind the chair and WENT behind the chair!!!!!

Time to cry it out girl

Last night, Little Miss decided she didn't need to sleep... at all. Ugh. By 11:00 pm, I had given up on her staying in bed and went upstairs to grab her to find a way to settle her down. Good thing I did - she was climbing out of her crib. Needless to say, she knows how.

So she and I watched TV while she drank warm milk, all the while I was hoping that "this" would settle her down to sleep. NOPE!!!

I finally put her back in bed about 11:30 pm. I think Jim went upstairs one more time before she finally gave up.

SO tonight, I started the process much earlier. We had a bath at 7:15 pm and read books for a LONG TIME! :) She still wasn't ready to go to bed. I was so frazzled I called my mother in Mobile to get away from the screaming. I think she cried and screamed for over an hour. Too bad for her that I was way too tired to go back upstairs. She eventually gave up.

Now it's time for me to give up and go to bed!

Sean - my buddy Sean

Last night, after running some fun errands, we dropped by Paul and Emily's house to pick up the speakers for our new basement. Turned out that Mr. Sean was still up and ready to go. I asked Reagan if she wanted to see Sean and she lit up like a lightbulb.

So we all climbed out of the car and piled in the front door. The kids were off and running. They played and giggled. We went upstairs and saw Sean's playroom (very cool Em!). It was nice. We actually hadn't seen each other in a month - I'm guessing. So it was nice to let the kids play and chat with some grownups too.

Elmo rocks

At some point in REagan's life she will learn that Elmo is not real. But this morning, I'm going to let it go. She is actually having a conversation with Elmo. She's picking him up and putting him on her horse and I actually tink she just put him in timeout. Hmmm - wonder what he did to get a timeout.

Counting with me

Tonight, Reagan decided to count with me. Usually she gets mad when we count with her. But not this time. I started with "1" and she followed with "2". We went all the way through "10"! She just giggled.

Good morning world

THis morning after breakfast, Reagan wanted to get down in order to watch Dora (one of her favorite shows). As soon as she got down, she proceeded to get her coloring book out and crayons and just started to color.
