Why does everything "match"?

For the last week or so, Reagan has been obsessed with things matching. It's so hilarious to listen to her. She'll find things of like color and go "we maatttcchhh" like she just found gold. It's so cute - now I try to find things that don't match to mess with her. She gets frustrated after a few times and she'll say "mama they don't match".

The diaper incident!

Why is it that kids feel the need to remove their diaper in the middle of the night and pee all over the bed. Hmmmm

Rough trip down the steps

Tonight, Reagan fell head first down the basement steps. I wasn't too happy about how it happened either, but it did. She lost her grip on the rail and then fell on her chest and then proceed to slide down the steps on her chest. I'm honestly not sure how she didn't bang up her face or even really hurt herself. She was lucky. Thank God she was fine.

Dora crazy

My daughter is Dora crazy! Literally. If she doesn't have a dose of Dora a day, she begs for it. It's comical most the time. I have, unfortunately, helped along in the obsession. I threw her a Dora party for her second birthday and most of her gifts followed that theme. I'm thinking it can't be too bad. She interacts pretty well with the show. She doesn't do the math, but she does count in Spanish and will also answer some things in Spanish as well.

No nap

So it seems during the week that she's just not tired. She won't go to sleep at night at all. So today, we're doing the no-nap thing. It's too wearing to get her to lay down and we know she'll be worn out by evening. Hopefully all that means she will go to sleep easily.

Cathing up

So there are a few things to catch up on since I am being a slacker with my posting.
Today, Reagan hopped up on the piano bench today and started playing the piano and singing. I think she was either singing "Jesus Loves Me" or "Amazing Grace" or some combination of the two. Either way, it was way too cute. Yes - I recorded it.

The most amusing thing she's said lately is "I said no". I haven't quite figured out where she got the from, but she's using it much more lately. I'm guessing school (or me).
