Sick sick sick

Oh wow - today I had the worse stomach thing. Jim and I both thought it was morning sickness :), but I figured out by the end of today that it had to be a stomach bug. I was up and down so fast that I couldn't see straight. I slept all day, anything I ate came up. The doctor even gave me some anti-nausea medication and I threw that up within 30 minutes. It was just awful. Ugh!

Crazy lunch

Today, Reagan asked to eat eggs for lunch. While that may not seem amazing, Jim has been waiting for the day that she does (it's been a year). Her lunch, today, consisted of eggs, mac n cheese, grapes, stawberries, Jim's pizza and Jim's apple. Everytime Jim gets something else out to eat, Reagan claims it as hers. He heee

Interesting new words lately

Some of the interesting new words in Reagan's vocabulary have cracked me up this week. She's started to use "maybe", "sure" instead of yes, and "mm-hmmm" instead of yes. Her vocabulary is growing so much.

Not only that, but she's speaking in Spanish. Thank you Dora. She just mixes in the words she learns from that show into her sentences. The funny thing is because I'm watching with her, it doesn't phase me at all.

Glowing Green Poop

Um, she has glowing green poop. She started taking a kid's version of a z-pack to kill her infection and the next day she had glowing green poop. Oh my. This morning, when I went to get her up, she had it again. And apparently it's irritating too. Hmmm.

Not sure it works

So I'm not convinced at all that Benadryl works on my kid. It did the first night, but the following three nights, she's wrestled to stay awake. Ugh. Last night, due to a number of things, I just slept on the floor next to her bed. She seemed okay with that after a while. Quite frankly, the stomach issues I had, prevented me from holding her which I am sure is a blessing.

I hope we can figure out her sleep stuff soon.

Sleep issues

So we spoke to Reagan's doctor Tuesday night and he suggested, if all else fails, that we could use some antihistamine for a week or so to help get her back in the habit of sleeping. Reagan has such a hard time settling down in the evenings, that we've been getting desparate. I'm hoping that she's getting into a good pattern that will carry us forward. I would also love to see her get out of diapers before we have #2. Ugh!

Late morning

Since Reagan and I got off to a late start, I thought I'd write while I watching her eat. There are so many things that she does now that are amazing to me - she's just growing so much.

She does things now like when the phone rings, she looks for it, finds it and brings it to me. She wants to help with everything. She's counting and speaking some words in spanish (thanks to Dora). She's even having actually conversations. You can talk to her and she'll respond back.

THe other night, we were asking her who she loved. We'd ask "do you love Mommy" she'd respond "noooooooo". "Do you love Daddy?" - "Nooooooo". Do you love...

Then I asked her if she loved some random name and she giggles, grinned and said "mommmy you're silly" and just shyed away. So darn cute.

She's even got voice inflections too. She's got the perfect "Daaa-aaa-aaad!". Wow! `
