This weekend Jim and I took off for an overnight trip to Lexington. We had my mom and dad take care of Reagan from Saturday morning through Sunday evening. I was so happy to get a chance to be alone with Jim. We got to Lexington and I went straight to the spa. Mani, pedi and a massage. Ahhhhh. Then we had dinner and relaxed in the room. I had a nice time. We vegged!!!
The next morning we woke up and had an awesome breakfast and went to the pool. Ahhh again. I figured out that swimming laps is harder than I remember. Jim had his massage in the morning and I worked out at the gym. After that we headed home.
It was nice and simple and easy. But it was our first attempt to leave Reagan for a night.
We got home and she was sleeping. Perfect. Mom and Dad said she did fantastic. She asked to go to their house a few times and then "go home" for bed. Cute. When she woke up from her nap, she realized we were home and just hung on me. Mush!!!
All in all, I think the trip went well. Reagan did well and I got some peace and quiet with Jim. Next trip will be two nights!! he heee

Potty training
So far she is doing really well. I haven't felt real great due to Baby C wreaking havoc on my system, so I don't push her. But she's done great at school and once we get past dinner, she does well too. I'm hoping and praying that we are out of diapers by the time #2 shows up.
Crossing her arms
Over the last week, I've noticed that Reagan has started to cross her arms and tap her fingers when she's waiting on an answer from us. It's so cute. She'll say something like "you want to??" and then she'll cross her arms and look at you. Of course, she grins like a cheshire cat and wiggles her eye brows. I just wonder where she gets all her expressions.

First Tea Party
Tonight, Reagan had her first "tea party" in our playroom. She saw Elmo across the room and ran over to grab him. Then she gave him careful instructions on how to sit down and drink his tea. She then pulled up a chair next to him at the table and had a tea party. We got a pic on Jim's phone. I'll ost it soon.
13 weeks
Today I had my 13 week check up. I've lost two pounds - what the heck!!! The baby is just fine. I saw the heartbeat on the monitor - that was super cool. The doc gave me some advice on how to combat my morning sickness (or all day sickness) and told me to stay hydrated. Ugh! I go back in four more weeks and hopefully we can see if it's a boy or girl.

Horrific day
I have absolutely no idea what I ate yesterday, but I was sick from about 4pm on. I drug myself off the couch to get Reagan and drive to the store to meet Jim. I struggled to walk through the grocery store and it was all I could do to get home.
I didn't even eat. I tried a bite, but my stomach said "heck no dude". I puked multiple times in my mouth and didn't move much until Jim was ready to get Reagan in bed.
I crawled upstairs to "read books" (I laid down on the floor) and put her in bed. I did help, I laid next to her crib on the floor and held her hand. She likes that. After about a half an hour, I crawled back downstairs to the couch and fell asleep for the night. Ugh

Ahhhh, peace and quiet
Well, for the moment. We got done eating dinner and Jim went to the basement to do a quick workout. I figured that was a fair trade from yesterday when I couldn't get off the couch. So I told Reagan we were going to the basement to play. And she is - by herself. Wow.
She went into her playroom and closed the door. I am sitting out here on the computer listening to her read Dora books to herself. So I am totally enjoying the alone time. :)
