Potty Training

Well, potty training is going much better this time around. We tried last week for a couple days and it was a disaster. So we took the weekend off and started again on Monday. This week she's had some accidents, but not many. Today has been the first day that she's not had one peepee accident... but did have one poppy. That's fantastic in my book. Way to go Reagan.

Tonight, she actually told us she had to go and went.

I think one key to her success is to keep Dora off the TV - she gets way too distracted.

It's a Girl

Jim and I went to our 20-week ultrasound appointment yesterday and found out we were having a girl! Woo hoo. So Jim gets some more estrogen pumped into the house which I find amusing. The good thing is that the baby is healthy and measures just fine. We are "on time" with the due date. They said we couldn't measure more on. Yea.

So in just another four months or so, we will be blessed with another little girl.

Days of week and Months of year

So, Jordan came downstairs this morning claiming that she had taught Reagan how to say the months of the year. I didn't have the heart to tell her that Reagan knew those already - her teacher has been working on those for a while with the kids. Not only that, but she also knows the days of the week. Woo hoo.

Date night!

My husband suggested earlier this week that we go to the Pops! Woo hooo. I was surprised, but totally took him up on it. We bought tickets to see the Pops Does Vegas! It was awesome. The music was beautiful and the characters were fun to watch and listen to. They had a Liberace impersonator who was simply fantastic. Each time he came out on stage, he had a completely different costume on. How fun.

I love you, part II

Well, not only does she say "I love you" to me and her daddy, but she now will say back to us "I love you too" when we tell her that we love her. Awwwwwww! Sniff Sniff... she's growing up so fast.

I love you

She started saying "I love you" to us today. Just out of the blue, she just came over to me, put her arms around me and said "Mama I love you". How sweet is that.

Turning pages

Tonight, Reagan did something interesting while we were reading books. She was sitting in my lap and turning the pages, but kept having trouble getting the pages unstuck. So she turned around, looked at me and said, "hold on Mama". Then she proceeded to lick her fingers and turn the page. Ummm... where did she learn that?
