Little fishy
Tonight, we took the girls to the pool and went swimming. Jim and I bought Reagan a small vest and some swimmies to try. She did GREAT! She ended up, by the time we left, being able to float and kick herself to the side of the pool. Woo hooo!!! She was so happy with her new freedom. She was very very happy.
Potty training from hell today
Oh My Gosh! It's like we never started... :) She had so much trouble with the potty concept that I just couldn't believe it. She peed and pooped at my parents this morning while they were watching her. She peed twice on the floor at home. We went to the store today and just decided to use a pullup for safety. :) Cheating totally. But guess what - she was DRY when we got home. Holy Cow.
Needless to say, it was rough. But we know that happens. Better luck tomorrow.

Back-kak
Today, I picked Reagan up from school and she actually wanted to wear her backpack out of school. She did - and put it on all by herself. How cool!?
Potty Training Milestone
So today Reagan got a great report from school - absolutely no accidents! Woo hoo!! Way to go Miss Reagan.
So we started potty training last Monday. We are on Day 12 right now. She went five days without an accident. She was home sick with HFM, but still had zero accidents. We took her back to school on Day 11 and she had only poopy accidents. Then today, Day 12, she had none. Wow! I'm impressed how fast she caught on.
And let me tell you how proud she is! :)

Baby C is kicking finally
So Baby C is finally kicking. Last night, I was lying on the couch with REagan and she just started kicking hard. I actually felt it on the outside. I could watch my stomach move a few times. Very cool. I was starting to get a little worried about her, but she's just taking her time. Not surprising.
Little girl is still sick
This illness is by far the worse. Medicine doesn't work. Her mouth hurts and she's grumpy. It's not fun. It's so hard because you just can't do anything besides comfort and it doesn't seem enough.
Last night, she woke up screaming at midnight and we couldn't get her back to sleep until after 3:30 am. She ate a couple popsicles and drank some juice for us. Finally, I curled up on the couch and slept while she watched Dora for the third time.
She eventually was ready to go back to bed. I kept her with me and Jim so I knew I'd get some level of sleep.
Needless to say, I went to work drained. I came home and she was super clingy. Just tired and grumpy. RIght now, I'm watching her sleep. She curled up on the couch in teh basement about 3:15 pm and just went to sleep. She wakes up every now and then to scream and toss, but goes back to sleep. (I'm secretly happy she's sleeping because she needs the rest, but praying she doesn't pee on the couch). :)
Poor angel!

Hand, Foot and Mouth?
So, I took Reagan to the doctor today because she's been not able to eat, her mouth and throat hurt, she's had a rash and a high fever. The doctor assured me that she didn't have HFM disease, but said she had the coxsackie virus. Hmmm. He also only noted that she had one sore in her mouth.
Well today, she wouldn't eat anything. Everything hurt her except popsicles. So that's what she ate - four of them. Nothing else.
So, at bed time, she kept saying she needed medicine. So I pulled back her lip to see what was up just to make sure she was ok and she had sores all over her mouth. Great! I'm pregnant. I'm guessing by the website information, she's got HFM disease, not just something simple. http://www.askdrsears.com/html/8/t082600.asp
Ugh, so now I have to call the doctor again tomorrow to find out if there is anything we can do for the sores to help her. Ugh again.
