Reagan loves to swim

Reagan is doing so well with swimming. She just loves to play in the water and is all about showing us new tricks she has learned. I guess the summer time at Silverlake did her good regarding swimming.

Now she is doing summersaults, backflips and cannonballs in the water. The other cool thing she does is make friends. She goes up to any kid that is about her size and just starts playing. I love that about her. I hope she stays that way.

Getting the hang of it

Today was the first time I watched Reagan play her Disney Princess game without any help. She was able to read the screens and control the Wii and nunchuck really well. Totally impressed! Finally :)
Too bad she's hooked on it.

Maddy's tummy

So last weekend, Maddy had an upset belly. On Sunday, at Reagan's birthday party, she got bopped in the nose. She bled like a stuck pig - all over the place. Once she calmed down, she was fine. On Wednesday night, she had a bloody back end - we didn't know what to think. So we took her to the doctor. I never thought it could have been the accident on Sunday. So now she's got an upset belly again. I wonder what it is this time. Ugh.

Cinderelli Nightlight

Maddy got a Cinderella nightlight from Papa C that talks. It's about a foot tall and lights up the entire room. It's actually pretty cool. We finally got it put together last night - not hung up - just put together. Maddy LOVES it. She dances with it and hugs it. We laid in bed and pressed the button over and over again just listening to her talk. It was super sweet to watch. It just made her light up.

The best part. I left the room after she fell asleep and left the remote in her room. When she woke up, she must have seen it - she crawled out of bed and got the remote from her dresser. She played with the nightlight for 15 minutes (while I watched on the monitor) before I went upstairs. Then she played some more after I went to snuggle. Super cute.

Maddy's a dog

Since we started giving Carson medicine, we've been handing out bananas left and right. The kids also started to eat them a bit more as well. TOday was no different except how Maddy asked for them. As we were hading out the meds to Carson hidden in the bananas, Maddy plopped down the floor in a doggie position. She immediately said "I am a doggie! Feed me bananas!"

It was hilarious.

Reagan's party

Reagan was super excited for her birthday party today. She got up and wanted to go right away. She could hardly sit still during breakfast and as soon as we left the church, she couldn't stop gabbing about her party.

Once we got to Jump Zone, she was ready to go. She and Maddy took off and started playing as soon as they could.  Most of her friends showed up and they all had a great time.  At one point, Maddy got bopped in the nose by someone else in the one of the jumpers. She came out bleeding like a stuck pig. That poor thing. Once we got her cleaned up and calmed down, she said "I want a cup cake". Hmmm.

Needless to say, the cupcake worked. She was back to playing in no time.

Reagan and her friends found the whole super big chair thing very cool. They wanted to sit in it all the time and took turns sitting in it. When Reagan opened her presents, it was big enough for her to have her friends sit in the chair with her. It was adorable to watch.

Merry Christmas

Maddy had a fun day. She got about half way through opening presents before she gave up. Better than last year - she only made it through one or two.  She was so excited to see her new doll house and all her new barbies. She also loved her new Belle dress - she put in on instantly along with her new shoes. After hanging with the family all day at my parents, we came home to go to bed. She informed us that she needed to use the potty. She did - all over the stool and rug. How funny. I could't stop laughing. Jim didn't find it funny at all. We quickly washed her down and wished her into bed for the night. Whew.
