Dentist Visit

We went to the dentist today - all three girls. I booked the two little ones together just to make it easier to remember. We brought some books and iPads with us to keep them entertained.  Reagan was a huge help in the waiting room. She kept Maddy entertained and was just so good with her. Once we got called back, Reagan got up in the chair like a pro.

Her mouth is still a little small for the bite wing xrays. But she tried. I'm proud of her for just trying. She sat in the chair and just took everything in stride. She loves Dr. McMahon. She tells him that every time as well. She was so happy to see him today - it was cute. Best news thought - NO CAVITIES!!! So excited.

Next it was Maddy's turn. She was not totally sure about the whole thing. She wouldn't let go of her iPad nor would she leave my lap. So I sat on the chair and held onto her.   They didn't take too long to figure out she wasn't interested in cooperating. It was hilarious. She's soo good with the regular doctor, you'd think she'd just be fine. Nope. Not the case.

The dentist came in and she closed her mouth and looked at him like he had three heads. She did eventually let him check her teeth, but that is about all we got done. Sharon gave her the tooth brush. She wouldn't let her do it, but she wanted to hold it and brushed her own teeth. Regardless, she did really well. It was fun to watch her take it all in.

Birthday parties

We went to a birthday party at Silverlake. We love going there - the kids get to swim, run and play. It's awesome. Reagan got to hang out with her Goddard friends. It was fun watching them play together. They were jumping off the side, spinning in the air, doing splits, and all sorts of fun girl stuff. I can't believe how much they've grown up.

The loom

We've been working on a thank you package for my Aunt Mary. She sent my girls some jewelry which they got at the beginning of December, but we made them wait until we had Jordan to open it. Needless to say, we are super slow getting stuff done. But we worked on the loom today. Reagan got about half way done and the loom and tool were so hard to work with, she gave up. I felt bad, so I finished it for her.

One very cool rainbow potholder later - we are ready!

This is WHERE we park!

This is where we park. I think she said this about ten times in a row, each time doing the whole Vanna wave towards her lovely little pink stroller. The funny part, why I'm blogging it, is each time she said it again, a different word had the emphasis. It took me a couple times to realize what she was doing, probably not even intentionally.

This is where we Park.
This IS where we park.
THIS is where we park!
This is Where we PARK!

Another bloody nose but dry bed!

This poor thing is just having the worst luck with bloody noses. She woke up again with one and was so upset. She had blood all over her face and clothes - but no wet bed two nights in a row. So tons to celebrate, but one red morning. :(

The wiggly tooth

So we are home today and the kids are super bored of course. Reagan came up to me while I was working and informed me that her tooth was loose.  Her top left tooth (or right if you are looking at her mouth) is wiggly. She, of course, is going crazy because she can't just yank it out. Ugh. Now I need to get her six-year old pictures done before that tooth disappears. :)

Maddy and the bloody nose

I am amazed at how may times Maddy has bloody noses. It's a little troubling because it just doesn't seem to get better. I went upstairs today and she had blood sitting on the edge of her nose. Sigh.
