Loud Noises
I did figure out that she does not like extremely loud noises. We went to watch Jordan play basketball at SOAS today and the buzzers and whistles were way too loud for her. I think because there are multiple courts that it was just too much for her. We won’t be going back to those courts anytime soon. It’s just too much for her.

Reagan update
Okay, I'm going to get caught up on my news and hopefully be able to start adding things more often. It is definelty a hard habit to start with everything else going on.
Reagan had her two month checkup on Wednesday. (I can not believe that it has been two months already.) She is doing very well. She's growing like a weed (as they say) and is very healthy. The bad thing about the two month checkups are the shots. She surprised me a little... she didn't react too bad to getting stabbed with a sharp object four times in a row. The nurse was so fast giving her the shots that it took her until the second one to realize "hey something hurts" and I had her wrapped in my arms soon after that. She calmed very quickly (thank goodness). No one likes to hear their baby cry like that. :(
She is so alert now that it's just amazing. She is looking around at everything and following sounds pretty well. She did catch herself in the mirror on Monday and just got stuck there. She seemed taken with herself ;). I couldn't get her to stop looking at herself for a long while.
I am constantly asked who she looks like and acts like. I think she's a good blend of both sides of the family. She definetely looks like Jim - especially in the eyes and brow area. She also has the Schansberg chin, which we saw on the ultrasound. One funny thing - she can't just sneeze once. It must be a series of sneezes. Sound familiar to anyone?
Anyway. She is such a joy and a blessing to me and our family. I am really enjoying staying home with her and am grateful for the time I have with her and will have over the next few months.
Next posting, I hope to get some pics up here.

Way too long
Here I started a blog and haven't found time to actually write anything. My days just go by so fast because I am so busy with Reagan. It's just amazing. So until I can get a chance to find time to do this, I'll just collect and post all at once.

Jordan Got 5 Points!!
Wow, we had a big game on Saturday. Jordan has been doing really well at basketball. This weekend, in her game, she scored 5 points!! WOW. Good for you Jordan.
Reagan
Tuesday was a big day for us! She gave me her first "unprovoked" smile (can't tell you when), grabbed and batted at the rattles on her playmat and lifted her head during "tummy time" which she hates. She also decided that she would pick today as the day for her to have quite a bit of awake time during the day. Wow! I don't think I sat down all day.
She and I hung out and pretty much had "baby talk" all day. I am really enjoying the time I have with her. I am cherishing every moment and am taking TONS of pictures - of course. Once I get this blog figured out, I'll post some pictures too.

The Carmans
Hey Everybody!
Welcome to our Carman Family Blog. I decided it was about time that I starting this blogging thing :) and catch up to many of my friends that already do this on a regular basis. And since Reagan had a lot of "firsts" on Tuesday, that I would start blogging today. I hope you enjoy.
