Picture Day

Picture day – she did GREAT!!! Our appointment was at 11am, but we didn’t get started with pictures until 1145am. I was really worried about her mood, but everything worked out just wonderfully!

Not only did we have a busy morning, but we had both Grand-dads come over! Wow. Papa Carman came down to visit for a little bit and my dad did too.

Today she is noticeably shrieking and chuckling. She not laughing yet, but she is getting close. She is also starting to make more obvious motions – grasping hands together, trying to grab things and move them into/towards her mouth. She is also starting to more her head towards voices and loud noises.

College Ball

Tonight we went over to Pam and Rob’s house to watch the college ball games! Woo hoo. It was a nice evening. We got to meet some new neighbors as well – Andrea and Jerry. Reagan did fairly well. She got fussy around her “bed time” as expected. Surprisingly enough, when Rob picked her up, she did well. He rocked her and walked her around the living room and got her to quiet down. It was a nice little break. J Thanks Rob!

Taking Pictures

Today was interesting to say the least. I had Reagan’s schedule all worked out so that we could get her pictures taken at 12noon. Well, as it goes, my schedule ended up getting completely screwed up. Because I had to take Jordan to school, I couldn’t let Reagan sleep in at all which meant she would be completely cranky by lunch. Oh well. We tried.
I got there and she was ok for a few minutes… then it all exploded in my face. She was not at all pleased with the woman that was taking her pictures. Reagan was crying so much that two other photographers were in there trying to make her smile. I couldn’t believe it. Needless to say, we didn’t get pictures and I am already booked at JCP for Saturday. Wish me luck!

Sick - ick

Today was a little rough. I really didn’t feel well most of the day – a sour stomach and dizziness kept me down most of the day. Reagan slept right along with me which was a little relief from our usual day of playtime.

Little Sean

Today was pretty calm around the house. We went out to eat with Paul and Emily for Taco Tuesday. That was fun. We got to see Little Sean and their new house. I can’t believe how much he has grown in such a short time. He’s 3 weeks old and is just too cute for words.

Grammy to the Rescue

Grammy and Grampy came over and hung out with Reagan while I cooked dinner. It was really nice because Grammy was able to calm little one down by herself – she didn’t need help. Nice to know since they will be taking care of her on Tuesdays here pretty soon so I can take karate again.

Grabbing stuff

Today she is a grabbing fiend! She grabbed a hold of the monkey on her playmate and would not let go. What a grip. She seems to be a lot more curious today. I bought her a few new toys today and she seemed to like them all (or so I think).
Tonight, we are trying to sleep without being swaddled. I may not get any sleep tonight if she wakes herself up a lot.
