Lynn
Today we went to visit Lynn again. We saw her during a “crazy” time. I didn’t think it was very crazy at all, but I was only there for an hour too. I guess all the excitement of visiting caused little Ms. Reagan to not want to sleep the rest of the day. By 630 pm, she was getting cranky. So at 845 pm, I took her upstairs to her room to sit and rock her. She finally settled down and then dozed off about 930 pm (in her swing). I didn’t dare put her in her crib tonight. I need her to sleep!

Back to normal?
Well, today is back to normal. She slept through the night which makes mommy happy. She played in her exersaucer and bebepod seat. I even got her to laugh today. I was doing some “mommy and me” type exercises in the living room. When I started doing my situps, she laughed everytime I counted – probably because I was grunting to make the effort.
I took Reagan upstairs to get her ready for bed and we played for a long time – naked time. Everytime I put her toe to her cheek, she’d laugh. He he!

Spoiled
I am really spoiled with a baby that sleeps through the night. I only know that (and appreciate it most) on the mornings that she has not donet hat. Last night, Reagan got up at 130 am and didn’t go back to bed until 400 am. Ouch. That really messed up my day. I am used to having a full eight hours every night that I really don’t function well on nights like this. Waaaa – right? Oh well. Needless to say, when she fell asleep while eating today, I just fell asleep with her. J
Tonight she screamed her head off for about an hour! Wow. I hope this isn’t a regular thing for her. That was just too much.

She Laughed!
Today she laughed out loud for the first time. It was hilarious. We all sat down for dinner tonight, including Reagan. We had her propped up in her Bebe Pod seat on top of the table. Jordan was coughing at the table during dinner and Reagan just started laughing. I got a cute video of Jordan getting her to laugh. It was awesome!
All day today, she’s been shrieking just for fun. I had a hard time determining most of the time if she was getting fussy or if she was just making loud noises. Every time I thought she was fussing, I’d go to get her and she’d have a huge grin on her face. I guess she’s figuring out she has vocal chords.

Nanny?
Today we went to go visit Lynn. She is someone we have talked to about watching Reagan when I go back to work. Everything seemed pretty nice there. I think I’m going to panic no matter what I choose. I will hate to leave her with anyone. But hopefully using someone through the church will help calm me some.

Sleeping in her crib
Oh My Gosh – Reagan slept in her crib all night for the first time! I am a little surprised she made it. We put her on her side with the help of a rolled up blanket. About 430 am, she let out a scream, but then went back to sleep. I woke up about 7am (a little late) and when I went to wake her up, she had her eyes open. She was quietly staring into space.
This morning she started SHRIEKING with full power! We can’t tell if she is in a bad mood or not. The shrieks seem playful most of the time. She is probably just exercising her new found windpipes.
We went to BabiesRUS today to get her size two nipples (no not mine) and also her Exercauser. How cool. Jim cracked open a beer and put the thing together in front of the TV. It seemed to take forever. There are a million pieces. I must say… after seeing her in it, the wait was well worth it.

Creation Museam
Today we went to the Creation Museum with Grammy, Grampy and the Schansberg boys. It was a great day. Reagan was really easy and the kids had a great time running around, I got some cool pics and was generally impressed with the museum.
The museum is definitely a place that you could go back to over and over again. It was too much to get all at once and definitely too much with six kids in tow. I hope that we go back at some point when we can spend a little more time at each exhibit to read and learn more.
Reagan overall was pretty easy to manage. She didn't like being in the stroller - I think there was too much separation for her with the crowds. I ended up carrying her in the Jeep carrier all day. She ate and slept on me unless I had to use the restroom - then I gave her to Jim. :)
