Lunch with Grampy

Today, Reagan and I went to meet Grampy at Bob Evans for lunch. I decided that since she really can’t stand to be in her car seat very long any more that I would bring her Bebe Pod seat to the restaurant. It worked like a charm. Once she started getting restless, I took her out of the carseat and plopped her on top of the table with me and Grampy. Everyone around us complimented my idea and said she was just adorable. Yea!!

Eating Peas and Sweet Potatoes

She’s now eating peas and sweet potatos. I completely objected to introducing solids to Reagan because I am totally freaked out about allergies. I am really scared she’s going to end up with my crazy allergies. But I had to bite the bullet. She was pounding the formula and just not getting full enough. Plus Jim was just driving me nuts and buying the jars of food anyway. So, I dove in (after a lot of praying) and hoped that she’d be ok. Duh – she’s fine.

She slept

Whew – she slept all night. Cross your fingers folks. I need some serious sleep. Jim is getting really tired of me being so cranky lately. Uggh.

3 hour nap

Today after I got back from lunch with Karen, I put Reagan right into bed. And right after I put her into bed, I crawled onto the couch for a very long nap.

Jordan's Science Fair

Jordan’s Science Fair was today. Her science experiment was to bake chocolate chip cookies and determine what various batches might taste like if they were missing ingredients. She did a great job on the project.

I'm sick of no sleep

Ouch – she got up every two hours last night and took a bottle every four. I think I got 2 hours of sleep at best last night. But she was well fed.

Rolling over - I think

She did it! Well – almost. I get her started and she keeps going. She’s really starting to enjoy playing on the floor finally. Whew – thank goodness.
