Tooth #5 officially

Well, her molars stopped moving but her top right tooth is officially in. So now she has three across the top and two on the bottom. Geez.

The weird thing is that her molars (if you looking at center, fourth and fifth teeth) are bulging. I really thought those were going to be the next ones in. But I looked at her mouth when she was wailing and there it was - popped through.

I'm Squinky

She is SO squinky! Oh my. We got home from LRS today and she was whiny and fussy and just nuts. I couldn't put her down and had to hold her. I figured out pretty fast that she was hungry. I had given her a 15 ounces (2 bottles) at 5pm, but by 6pm she was just nuts again. I sat her down in her high chair and she calmed down some. I know they have to wean her from the bottle, but this is nuts. I wish she would start drinking something during the day.

The good thing is that she eats really well at night. I guess because she is starving. Most of the time, she will eat what I give her. Other times, the dogs are well fed. Reagan likes to toss food over the side of her tray and "watch" to see who eats it. Mostly it's Sydney, but sometimes Carson wins out.

I think I was grossed out the most by Carson licking her hand and then Reagan eating what he didn't eat. ICK!! It is so gross. I can't help but just let her do it. I figured if she was going to get sick, she would have been by now.

Of course after dinner, she was squinky again. So I picked her up and took her straight to the bathroom. She actually calmed down when she saw the tub. She tried to climb in as soon as I got her top off. Thank goodness she can't make it in yet, or she would have been in the water with her diaper and pants on. :) After a while, Reagan started looking towards the mirror and door. I think she was looking for Jordan. Since she played peek-a-boo last night, I think she was expecting Jordan to be there again tonight. I love that. (a little bitter sweet though).

After her bath, we stayed upstairs to play. And since her mood really didn't improve much, I put her into bed. She didn't even complain. She sucked down about 9 ounces and passed out. She didn't make a peep.

Peek-a-boo

Reagan loves to play peek-a-boo. It doesn't matter if you're sitting on the floor or in the tub, she loves to play. Tonight, Jordan came into the bathroom while I was giving Reagan a bath. She popped in and popped out. Reagan got the biggest grin on her face. She did it over and over again to the point that Reagan was laughing hysterically. It's so cute to watch them play together.

Fun in the bath

So tonight after her dinner, I threw Reagan into a bath. This seems to help calm her down when she's been upset. It worked. She got in and had a blast. She LOVES falling water and her letters. She has also started trying to get into the tub on her own. I got her down to her diaper and I had to pry her off the side of the tub to keep her from crawling in. He heee.

Once she's in there, she is 100% play. If I try to actually bathe her (ya know - take a bath) she gets fired up. She doesn't want to be bothered. I'm not surprised - she can't stand to be held down in any fashion for any reason.

Anyway, Jordan came in after a while and started playing peek-a-boo with her. She stood up and wanted to keep playing. Too cute.

After her bath, we had naked time (or diaper time). We like to let her run around the house free of clothing as long as we can. It's cute. :)

Soooo clingy

When I got upstairs from working out, everyone was home. Jim picked up both girls today so I could get a short workout in before the evening started moving. Reagan was, needless to say, grumpy. As soon as she saw me, she started crying until she got to me. I couldn't figure out if she was hungry or her mouth was hurting but she's been like this since she started in the new class at LRS.

I put my finger in her mouth to see "what was going on" and her canine and first molars are coming to the surface. I'm guessing that's why she's so "off". Jim had given her a bottle, but she was also clearly hungry. So I gave her some snacks and she stopped crying. Hmmm.

So I started to get upset. I have noticed since she's started the new daycare class, she's been ultra clingy and hungry. I know this weaning thing is tough, but I've noticed she doesn't eat well nor does she drink at all during the day. This is a problem. I told Jim that we should put some stuff on her gums to see if she eats better on Thursday. If not, then I would have to start talking to the teacher on Friday morning. Ugh. I wish I could see what she does all day. I'm really struggling with her moving up classrooms. Oh well.

Jrodan's bball game

Tonight we went to Jordan's basketball game. I have to say that it was VERY loud in the SOAS arena. I was a little worried about the noise level, but she was fine. She seemed to not be too dazed by it all. Unfortunately, Jordan's team lost. I won't mention the score because it was pretty bad (boo hoo), but it was a nice change of pace.

I wanna play

Reagan loves to play the piano. I will catch her walking into the dining room to tickle the ivories! It's cute.

She'll wait until I get in there and try to get into my lap. Once I pick her up, she plays. I have no idea what she is playing, but she seems to think she's doing something. It's adorable. I love watching her brain click away when she's thinking about something. She'll play for a bit and look up at me. So I'll start and then she'll stop me so she can start again. He heee :)
