Today Jim and I decided to be lazy. He was still not feeling real great because of brochitus and neither one of us felt like running around. Reagan played great all morning and went down for an early nap. But after the nap, we got a call from Emily saying "I'm bored can we come over".
The kids played well together. Reagan hovered over all her toys which made us all laugh. She has a set of discovery cards that she is very particular about. I tried to get the both of them together to look at them. They did ok. But Reagan did not want Sean to touch the "dog" and "cow cards. But he could have the "cat". Hee heeee. By the end of the evening, they did much better. They are both just so darn adorable.
One hilarious thing - Sean can go down the stairs backwards. All she had to do is say "go down down" and he sat, turned and slid down the steps on his belly. Hmmm.

You made a match
Reagan got a LeapFrog toy that sticks to the refridge from Paul and Emily for her birthday. She loves it. She puts the animals in the toy and then pushes them to get the song going. It says "You made a match, look at me now..." When the song starts, she twirls around and around.
Great day at LRS
Today we got a nice report from LRS - she's a joy to have in class and has a neat personality. Yea! So my question is, "have they not seen a temper tantrum?" Just kidding. LOL
Full Weight Bearing? Really??
Oh My! I never thought walking again would be so difficult. It's just amazing what your body has to do just to get back to normal. I only spent 6 weeks at basically non-weight bearing on my foot. It's just so stiff and sore in the mornings. My knee just wasn't as big of a deal. Once my knee got used to pressure again, I was off and going. But my ankle just isn't flexible enough to walk yet and then you add in the swelling. Geeez. I am really not complaining at all. I am so grateful that I can put my foot down and walk around on it. I'm just amazed what happens when you don't use a body part. I guess it's true - lose it or use it! ;)

What else can I climb?
She is climbing onto everything. It's amazing. They start off sitting, rolling, cruising, walking - then it's EVERYTHING. She can do it. And if she hasn't tried, there is NO FEAR! Oh my. I can turn around to grab something and turn back - she'll be gone. Gone and on top of something! Man - no fear and fast is a bad combo when I am still hobbling around. "Oh Jim!!!!!!" :)
Peek a boo
Today we played peek-a-boo with the table. She was eating pizza when I got home from my meeting. I didn't really want to sit down to feed her since Jim already was, but I missed her. I wanted to see her. She started playing peek-a-boo with Sydney (our dog). She would move from side to side and squeal when she saw her. So I started bobbing my head up and down (over the table and under). She copied me. She finally figured out how to bend waaaayyy over to see me under the table. When she did - she squealed with glee. How funny. We did that game until she hit her head so hard she left a mark. Oopps. At least she didn't cry. :)
I miss her
There are some days that I go to work and I'm fine. I can work and just do my day. Today was not one of them. I really missed her. It didn't hit me how much until one of the guys before the meeting said, "got any pics" that I realized it. I had been staring at one picture in particular for the last five minutes. It was right there on my phone.
She's such a beautiful and happy kid - she just makes me smile. I'm so blessed to have her in my life and I can't imagine life without her now. Gosh, what did I do? Odd thoughts I know. Of course I know, but it amazes me sometimes how much she has changed me. I think I'm just happier.
