What a day for us. We woke up early with Reagan and the day didn't stop. We hung out in the morning and patiently waited for Jordan to get up so we could open presents. We had a nice time opening presents - I got a huge kick out of watching Reagan. I think she enjoyed the box my robe came in more than any of her toys. How cute!
Reagan did some walking, but for the most part stayed close to the ground. She's trying hard to walk, but is much faster at crawling.
I am not really sure if any of us got out of our pjs before 5pm. I know Jordan stayed in hers all day. Mom and Dad said they were coming over so Jim and I felt it was more appropriate that we had some decent clothes on.
Our dinner was surprisingly good. Jim and I discovered on Christmas Eve that we had left the roast in the freezer. Oops. We stuck it in the slow cooker overnight on low and just let it go for over 12 hours. It turned out absolutely fantastic - probably the best we've ever done.
Reagan said light for the first time ("liggh" for "Light") I've been trying to get her to say that for a week.
After all the presents were opened and Reagan was down for her nap, we moved all her toys upstairs into a toy box. Jordan decided to donate her Winnie the Pooh collection table and toy chest to Reagan's cause. I had a huge need to get the toy store out of our living area. We left some toys down there but I really wanted to make sure we had a "play room" set up for evening play. It's really nice now.
Jordan recorded her first song, "Invisible", on her new recording set up. How cool is that.
We had a nice Christmas Day! But I'm glad it's done. We now have to get ready for Reagan's first Birthday party. Woo hoo
