Over the last week, I've noticed that Maddy had bumps on her booty. By Monday, they had multiplied enough that I thought it was best to take her to the doctor. The report was that she had a skin infection and we should treat it with an antibiotic ointment for 10 days. Okay. Easy enough.
Tuesday, Reagan woke up and told me that she had bumps on her leg and belly. Nice. I didn't worry too much because I thought it was the same stuff.
One Wednesday, her bumps had multiplied as well and I decided to just check since they were a tad different. Well, the doctor wasn't sure until he looked at her leg. There were three bumps, all in a straight line, very distinctive. Apparently chicken pox marks. He then said that his bet was the Maddy actually had it as well, but she was probably fine at this point. Awesome!
So both of my girls, although vaccinate (Reagan twice) had post-vaccination chicken pox. There are no true signs other than bumps and pimples and other non-descript bumps. There can be, on occasion, normal pox marks which Reagan may have. So for precaution, she has to stay home until no new ones form.
Now what?
