I haven't quite figured it out yet, but she's gotten a little bit picky with her food choices. The things she liked before, she doesn't like now. I don't get it. She's turned into a fruit gal - she used to like meat and veggies. Hmmm.
She does like to feed herself at times, but not every night. She is definetly changing and getting more independent. I just can't wait for her to get some more teeth so we can try some more cool foods. :)
She has started to "spit" when she's done eating. That's so nice. (ha ha) I'm not sure I'm real keen on gettin spit at when I'm feeding her, but I guess it's good to know when she doesn't want anymore. (total sarcasm).

The day after
Wow! This day is just as crazy as all the rest. I have realized today that it probably wasn't the best idea to have Reagan's party two days after Christmas. Oh well! It's coming tomorrow fast. So today is totally focused on getting ready.
The house got cleaned this morning and the carpets got cleaned while Reagan napped in the afternoon. All of the furniture on the first floor is moved around at this point and we will have to put it all back together in the morning - ugh.
I dressed all of us in our NKU garb before heading out - Jordan really likes to dress like her sister. I think it's cute. We also spent a lot of time in the new playroom. Woohoo. We took of to hang out at Grammy and Grampy's house for a little while after we ran some errands.
Reagan decided she still didn't want to walk today. We kept trying all day. She wouldn't even walk for Jordan. I guess it will be like her rolling over - she did it one time and then didn't do it again for over six weeks. She is adding new words almost daily - it's so awesome to watch her.
By the end of the day, we had played hard and cleaned the entire house. Just think, her party is just in a few hours.

What a day
What a day for us. We woke up early with Reagan and the day didn't stop. We hung out in the morning and patiently waited for Jordan to get up so we could open presents. We had a nice time opening presents - I got a huge kick out of watching Reagan. I think she enjoyed the box my robe came in more than any of her toys. How cute!
Reagan did some walking, but for the most part stayed close to the ground. She's trying hard to walk, but is much faster at crawling.
I am not really sure if any of us got out of our pjs before 5pm. I know Jordan stayed in hers all day. Mom and Dad said they were coming over so Jim and I felt it was more appropriate that we had some decent clothes on.
Our dinner was surprisingly good. Jim and I discovered on Christmas Eve that we had left the roast in the freezer. Oops. We stuck it in the slow cooker overnight on low and just let it go for over 12 hours. It turned out absolutely fantastic - probably the best we've ever done.
Reagan said light for the first time ("liggh" for "Light") I've been trying to get her to say that for a week.
After all the presents were opened and Reagan was down for her nap, we moved all her toys upstairs into a toy box. Jordan decided to donate her Winnie the Pooh collection table and toy chest to Reagan's cause. I had a huge need to get the toy store out of our living area. We left some toys down there but I really wanted to make sure we had a "play room" set up for evening play. It's really nice now.
Jordan recorded her first song, "Invisible", on her new recording set up. How cool is that.
We had a nice Christmas Day! But I'm glad it's done. We now have to get ready for Reagan's first Birthday party. Woo hoo

Christmas Eve
It was a whirlwind day for me. We got up in the morning and hung out for a while before I hopped in the family truckster and ran some errands. After I got home and BB girl got her nap, we all piled back into the family truckster and went up to Papa Carman's for Christmas Eve dinner. We had some awesome fried chicken (thanks to Joan) and a great visit with the family. I always really enjoy hanging with his family - especially Dad and Rhonda.
We got tons of good pictures and irritated most of the kids by taking tons of them. :) I love doing that. It's my joy in life.
We were really hoping that Reagan would walk for everyone, but she didn't. But she did play a super cute game of peek a boo with the glass table in their dinning room. She got such a kick out of being able to see everyone through the table. He heee.
She also showed off her dancing skills to her new boom box from Papa. He got her a Leap Frog bilingual radio thing - it's really cool. Every time a song would play, she would dance her little butt off. So darn cute.
Before we took off, I got her in her pjs just in case she fell asleep on the way home. She did - it worked well.
All in all, we had a great day together. We were busy, but I enjoyed the day. :)
