So tonight, I came home tired - just tired. Jordan wanted to go out to dinner with Daddy and after thinking about it some decided I was MORE than happy to let them go dispite my foot. Jim came home to help me out some, but then took off as soon as I got Reagan in her high chair.
Reagan, unfortunately, had other plans. She did not want to eat at all. She wanted to throw her food and play in it. Ugh. I wasn't in the mood at all.
Dad called and suggested I get out of the house - I was more than willing. I packed her little butt up and took off to meet him. We went over to their old house in Lookout Farm and played in the newly renovated diggs. Reagan had a hoot - she ran up and down the halls and hid in all the closets. Then we went outside and let her run up and down the sidewalk for a bit.
We had such a nice visit with my dad!

My little space cadet
So for the past couple days, Reagan's been "spacing out" some. I wasn't sure if it was because she hit her head, or that she's sick and on meds or because of her shots. Needless to say, I called the doctor to ask what to do and they said "bring her in". So I did.
We had an appointment with the doctor at 4pm and I'm glad I went. They did say that her ears looked better than on Monday. (good news) They also said that they thought she was out of the woods regarding a head injury. They did check in her ears for blood, but figured she was fine.
So even thought I felt like a spaz, the docto said I was fine. He said he was glad I was asking all the right questions and that I should always be cautious with head injuries.
Whew!

Her Coat
I don't know if I've written about this before, but Reagan is nuts over her coat. I'm starting to wonder if it's her little security blanket. When we get home from LRS, she absolutely refuses to take it off and throws a fit if you take it from her. Yesterday, I thought it was her winter coat. But today, she has her UofL coat on and she flipped out when Jim tried to take it from her.
Odd kid.
Odd kid.

So Big!
We had Reagan's 15-month appointment today. She is now 99th percentile in height. Ummm, yea, she grew 3.25 inches in three months. I personally think that is insane, but maybe. Wow!
She is now 34.25 inches tall and 27 pounds. I think she's much heavier than that, but I'm sure it's because I have to lift her up all the time.
WOW!
Happy 15 Months!

Grumpy baby
Reagan fell asleep in the car today while we were starting to go on our errands. I really needed to get my parents a car seat and some other things, but it wasn't working out. Jim said he wanted to take Reagan home. I actually said "she won't go back to sleep" and he said "yea she will". She never does and today was absolutely no exception.
I took off and did the errands without him which turned out ok dispite my struggles. I got home and Reagan was making all sorts of noise upstairs - apparently she never went to sleep. So at 3:00 pm, we got her up. She played, but grumpily. She wouldn't eat. Hmmm.
So around supper time, she was coloring on the coffee table. She was trying to eat the crayons. I actually had to pry the crayons out of her hands which launched an enormous crying fit. It didn't stop when we put her in her seat to eat dinner. And apparently she was really mad because in the split second I turned to grab something off the counter, she kicked the table so hard she tipped her chair over. Remember, we have a high table and high chairs which means she fell much farther than normal. Ugh.
I turned around and she was freaked out - eyes bulging. I yanked her out of the chair straps and picked her up. She was, of course, still crying. Within a few moments, she fell asleep on my shoulder. Done. She stayed suctioned to my shoulder for the next hour. It didn't matter what position I was in, she stayed asleep and right on me. I guess she was done.

What?
We think Sydney ate a burger tongiht. I bussed the table tonight after dinner and put the leftover burgers on the counter. Jim came upstairs when I was giving Reagan a bottle and said "how many burgers were left on the plate?" Hmmm... he said Sydney was looking at the counter and licking her chops when he walked in the kitchen. When he walked in, she turned around in a very guilty manner. Hmmmm
Florence Walgreens sux
Ok here's an update on the Rx saga...
I called the Florence 24-hour Walgreens at 900pm to check to see if the prescription was reaady. I was on hold for over 20 minutes before I got to talk to anyone. When Jason answered the phone, there was no apology for the wait nothing. Then he had the nerve to say the Rx is "not in the system".
WHAT!!! You're Freaking KIDDING ME! So he puts me back on hold for another 8 minutes and then gets back on the phone and says "it will be ready in about 30 minutes". OH MY GOSH! I'm going to go balistic.
So I called back to talk to the manager at 930pm. She just flat out didn't care! So now I'm calling Walgreens corporate. I'm pissed and sick and tired of the crappy service and attitudes from that freakin' store! She seemed to get a bit nervous when I asked for her last name. And when I asked for Jason's last name, she said "I don't know". Of course, at that point, I was so irritated that I actually said "what, you mean you are the store manager and you don't know your employee's names? Are you kidding me?" Oops. But she quickly came up with his name.
And another update at 1030pm
So Jim calls me and says "guess what, it's not ready yet". I about hit the roof. So we have been told four different times, we gave them extra time and it STILL WASN'T READY! He had to wait another 10 minutes before it was ready for him to pick up. I personally think that is absolutely ridiculous. If they are that slammed (as they say), then they should ramp up for it. They know they get busy after hours and they should staff for it.
