Shhhh! don't tell anyone

I had my first therapy session today since the doctor told me that I could put all my weight on my foot. Let me tell you - my ankle is REALLY stiff. It was a tough but good hour of therapy. It didn't "hurt" per se, just really sore. By the end of it (and 10 minutes of ice to numb the whole area) I could walk without my crutches. Of course, the PT guy didn't see me do it - I did it at home. I'm so excited.

So one week left in my boot and I get to start wearing running shoes for a while. The challenge is that I have to get my ankle to 10 degrees by next Tuesday. I know I can do it. Now that I have permission to put pressure and work on the flexibility, I will.

Oh yea, and I walked up stairs for the first time in over six weeks today. I did use one crutch to make sure I wasn't being too stupid. I was totally excited.
